Nice place

Absolutely beautiful lodge overlooking the lake. Exceeded our expectations. Spacious, clean and modern! Wish we'd been staying longer.

The resort is clean and provides leisure centre, restaurant, watersports and even a tennis court. The location is near the highway so you can hear the cars but the views can help you to overcome this. We were checked in at a studio apartment near the lake and we were more than happy to sit outside with a cup of coffee to admire the sunrise and the sunsets with a glass of wine. The studio has everything that you need : Kitchen:fridge with freezer, microwave, stove, cooking pots and utensils,coffee filter. All you have to do is bring your supplies if you want to. Otherwise you have a restaurant where you can eat or go to Carnforth which is 5 minutes away. We didn't use the restaurant as we had some supplies with us and we have visited other close by locations where we also ate while we were there. The leisure centre is nice, you have to book in 1 hour slots which is short but still okay. It has a jacuzzi which you can use but has a timing and you need to get out when it stops. A dry and a steam sauna and a pool. The place can be a little bit crowdy especially if if you are going during the summer. We didn't quite used the pool as there were a lot of kids and not enough space to swim. You need to remember to bring your own towels or pay a small fee of £2 per person to have a towel from the leisure centre. The location overall is nice and strategically placed as you can go and visit Lake District and other close by towns as Lancaster. I suppose we will come back at some point with couple of friends.

Fantastic base for the lake district. Staff were all really friendly. Site was quiet. No being woken up at night or in the morning. Leisure facilities were decent for a small site. My child had fun in the hour fun session they have in the pool. Crazy golf, ping pong, tennis and a playground for younger kids. The watersports centre is resonably priced. One of my children did kayaking and another the sofa jet ski type thing lots of fun had. The restaurant was nice enough, standard pub food and very decent prices. The lodges themselves were modern and had everything you would need. Only negative was the hairdryer set on fire and nearly singed my hair but reception apologetic. Dining table had crumbs on when we arrived so cleaned down but other than that really impressed and would definitely consider returning.

Unsure of what to expect but thrilled with the whole experience. Staff check-in in and throughout stay very helpful. Stayed in the studio over looking the lake, wonderful views, the rooms had everything you need and was spotlessly clean. Didn't use all amenities but there was plenty to do. The bar n restaurant well staffed, plenty of choice. Food was general pub fair but it served its purpose. All in all a excellent experience, shall be going again. Preferably in the same room.

My late husband and I had wonderful holidays at Pine Lake for 20 Years and I still find it a beautiful place . The lodges and studios are tastefully furnished and the bed linen , towels etc spotless. The properties are kept clean and tidy and have everything you need . The beds and pillows are cosy and extremely comfortable . The views of the lake, with the friendly swans and ducks is priceless . The restaurant and lakeside cafe are again. Spotless and the food and wine excellent . I had an enjoyable night at the wine tasting presentation and the wine flowed freely . The reception and housekeeping staff are friendly , warm, professional and very welcoming , nothing is too much trouble for them , and they always make your stay more memorable . The leisure centre is lovely and again staff are very welcoming . Well done all for making our holidays extra special and for providing a first class service Lesley and Ian 😊

We go there almost every year, but this time, the lodge given is too compact for a family of 5, especially the toilet seats are very compact and uncomfortable. Was not aware there are different sizes of lodges.

The cabins are a good size and have everything you need. The only disappointing part was that the cabin wasn’t on the lake but a row back, so it wasn’t as advertised. Be careful when booking if you want to be on the water
