How spacious it was and had everything we needed

We reserved a 'superior' 2-bedroom apartment last minute as we needed accommodation close to Wollongong Hospital. Having stayed at other Mantra properties, I knew the standard to expect. We appreciated the 'self-contained' amenities (washing machine & dryer, toaster, stovetop, dishwasher etc).

The room was fine but tired. There was a bit of a musty smell from the carpets and a few stains, but everything was clean. The biggest disappointment was the property did not disclose the SIGNIFICANT construction noise next door. Heavy equipment and jackhammering started at 0700 weekdays and 0800 on Saturday. As our room was overlooking the site, we were impacted all day long. Obviously, it isn't the property's fault there is construction noise, but we were extremely frustrated that it hadn't been disclosed prior to booking. If we had known, we would have booked elsewhere.

When I spoke to the front desk about mould in the aircon they accommodated us to a better room. Bed was comfy in new room

Mould in the air con. A very loud Construction site going alllllll day right next the rooms. In the new room there was no cleaner for the entire week front desk ended up coming to take my bins as they never serviced my room. Was told they would following day which they still did not.

I loved the central location, staff was great, good wifi. The place is spacious, it was very clean, the bed was so comfortable!

There's was a construction site right next to it so it was very noisy all day long.
