Hotel is close to the railway station giving easy access to travel and also the shopping district. A good variety of restaurants can be found nearby. Theatres and cinemas are also close by. Hotel offers functional rooms that are extremely clean, food at breakfast was good with plenty of variety to suit most tastes. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent service by the staff. Very nice clean and comfy beds. Great local transport system with the free travel card with this hotel. Ideal for our stop over. Free parking at the side of the hotel but limited spaces.
Nice looking hotel, close to main train station. Beds were not great, stiff mattresses and scratchy sheets. We were there for Essen and they let us game in part of the lobby as long as we wanted. Unfortunately the larger dining room they closed at 11PM which greatly reduced the number of tables available.
Nice bed, nice bathroom, ordinary tv, bar could have been better, a bit expensive. Hight extra charge for internet - I know this is quite common in Germany, but think it is a real shame...

the hotel is pleasent & clean. rich breakfast & free transport. very well located. stayed at the studio room. the 3rd bed in the room is not so comfortable.
Hotel was in a great location - round the corner from the pedestrianised shopping area and across the street from the main station. Room was quiet, stylish, very clean and the shower-room was lovely. Had the best shower I've ever had ! A free travel card and Friendly hotel staff made this an even more enjoyable stay.
