Sugar Marina Hotel – FASHION – Kata Beach

The stay was amazing, especially the location is just too convenience!

6th year in a row staying here whilst taking part in the Kings Cup Sailing Regatta. Looked after superbly as usual by the room cleaners, breakfast staff and reception. Lovely people always with a smile. Can't wait til next December.

Friendly staff, spacious room, nice breakfast. The pool is small but hotel is very walkable to the beach so that's fine.

Stayed in a pool access room. It was ok, shower was a bit dirty. I think it needs a bit of an upgrade. Hotel staff were nice, although we had to go through 5 staff out front to find someone that could understand a bit of English. Buffet breakfast wasn't that great compared to other resorts I've stayed at, less variety. The only thing really great about this place is the location. There's restaurants, massage parlours & a bit of shopping right out front. Beach is literally not 5 minutes walk straight ahead as you walk out front of the hotel. Would I stay there again? Probably not. There are other resorts nearby that cost close to the same price that are nicer & better value for your money.

Rooms large and newly refurbished. Art Deco style. Pool view and nice location near the beach. Breakfast buffet , one of the best you can find. Everything nicely selected and excellent quality for its rating. Staff friendly and helpful. The dinner restaurant is excellent as well, try the lobster tail for 390 baht!!! The only let down is closure of the sauna and steam room.

Great location, Would consider stay again considering the budget and location. Would be great if they can work on the maintenance thought. Woke up almost every night due to the electricity going out. Would have been super creepy if hubby is not with me. all electricity going out for like 20 seconds periodically! I'm a light sleeper. Pity the pool, hate the broken tiles! Totally giving me goosebumps when I looked at the wall. Dangerous for young children as well. It's would have been a beautiful pool when it's new.

every thing is with in 200 meters ocean , food , shopping , bars all food of the streets is safe cheap & tasty beer is cheap , find the bars that have happy hours on as a cocktail is 99 bhat approx $ 4.00 aus every thai is happy & friendly every where you go it is safe & clean one thing you have to do is get partly drunk & talk to the lady boys around midnite it is a experience you will not forget in a hurry , fun times for all ages so enjoy

This is not my 1st time in Phuket , I have tried a lot of hotels , frankly Suger fashion was the best bettween all options , my self for next trip will consider the same hotel .

Awesome for solo traveller! Naiise place!! My 2nd time staying in this resort. Will definitely stay again on my next visit. Veri veri close to beach, nearby all restaurants and minimart.
