The beds were comfortable, and the staff was nice

Needs all new management, that manager is horrible. She is rude and very disrespectful, changed my room rate in the middle of the trip and actually accused me of lying when I had an official documentation for the rate . I Asked to switch rooms ( just one of my rooms not both ) because of bugs ( roaches and some kind of prehistoric looking bug that we don’t have in Illinois ) Erica said my hotel doesn’t have roaches & she lied and said they were at full capacity and there was 6 empty rooms near mine and I called pretending to be another person and asked if they could accommodate a 10 room last minute reservation later that day and a man at the front desk said sure they had enough rooms but Erica lied and said that they were booked to capacity for the next week ( liar ) my husband was waiting for clean towels ( because the ones left in our room had hair on them) and heard her bad mouthing another employee to the other person at the front desk with her 🙄 she over charged my card and took money from our deposit ( had to contact corporate because Erica doesn’t care to respond or return calls ) she is rude and disrespectful. I understand we all have lives outside of our jobs but you can’t bring those issues to work and take it out on the customers and other employees . I am so disappointed and will never stay at this hotel again

The service is unacceptable. The room was fine, once we were finally able to get into our room. We had booked online, and arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm when we told them we would be there. No one was at the desk in the lobby. We called multiple times, we messaged in the app, we called for assistance aloud, no one came, FOR OVER 20 MINUTES! As we were getting ready to leave and go pay for another hotel, someone finally showed up. No apology, no explanation.

I recently booked a stay at the Fairfield Marriott and was extremely disappointed with the service. The staff is rude and inconsiderate, making your stay very unpleasant. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and the overall attitude of the staff was unprofessional. Given my experience, I would recommend booking with other hotels in the area where you are more likely to receive better service and a more welcoming environment.
