Stayed for Chiefs game, safe area, relatively close to stadium, great breakfast and not crazy crowded. Would definitely stay here again!

The food was very good!

Clean, good breakfast with lots of eating space, staff was friendly.

Just not our favorite with a toddler but the bathroom door in the room was those barnyard style ones and it couldn’t lock, so our toddler just goes and opens it when it’s being used. Pillows were also hard which is just not our preference.

The property was very nice and comfortable.

Everything was good except we found the beds to be a bit firm. I chose Hampton Inn because they always had nice pillow top mattresses, but not this time. Otherwise everything else was just great!

I am a Hilton Gold Member. I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Kansas City Northeast from February 13th to February 16th, 2025, during a business trip. My experience at this property was disappointing, and I would like to share my concerns here. First, the bathroom faucet in my room fell off, which was an unexpected and inconvenient issue during my stay. Additionally, I had requested a late checkout. When I inquired about this at the front desk, I was told that it would not be a problem and that I simply needed to inform the front desk the next day (check out day). However, when I asked on check out day, I was suddenly told that a late checkout was not possible. Despite the standard checkout time being 12:00 noon, my request for an extension until 1:00 PM was denied without any flexibility. Furthermore, the front desk staff member I spoke with was rude and dismissive, which only added to my frustration. I expect a higher level of service and professionalism, and this experience fell far short of those expectations.

The location and room was ok. There was a problem with the heater where it ran constantly. It would get really warm and then we would shut it off. Front desk staff was interested in their inventory routines more so then helping with the issue. Also, breakfast bar had cereal but no milk. When asked about the milk the attendant replied with "What?" like I was bothering her. We have plenty of choices for motels and we will not rebook here.
