Rooms are not clean and no cleaning service during our stay

My family and I chose this hotel because it was off of I-95 on the way to our cruise port and for having a restaurant next door you can walk to. The beds were clean. It looked as though the bathroom wasn’t because hair was on the shampoo bottles. The desk chair was filthy, it was either foundation or spray tanning lotion and oil on the seat. We chose this hotel for the price and knowing it would be clean. It fulfilled its need for us to rest after a 9 hour drive. When giving this feedback to the hotel they were apologetic and discounted our room no questions asked. We appreciated that.

Elevator not working. We had to call the front desk for someone to come and let us use it. Apparently this had been going on for awhile. Not working on our floor either. My husband is handicapped and we had to try to use the stairs which was difficult. Maid service only every 3 days which was never explained to us. Betty checked us in and was very rude. Breakfast was ok. Room was in need of a facelift. If you check in online and decide this is not the place for you, too bad. They will not cancel. We booked thru hotel.com but could never reach anyone for any information. We will never stay there again. If I could give them a zero star rating, I would.

The property was extremely clean and well cared for, staff was wonderful, except the desk person upon arrival, it was a older woman, she was slightly on the rude side, she did not aim to please for sure. it was not extreme however after traveling and tired a little kindness goes a long way. however the young man who was on the desk next morning more than made up for it, he was so pleasant and so kind1

Good experience. Complimentary breakfast was very good.
