Hampton Inn & Suites Berkshires-Lenox

Was good . Staff very helpful and pleasant. Music in breakfast area was nice. Water and coffee always available. Dining area very nice. Room clean and spacious, Cleanliness

Room needs a safe, & microwave, shower cap would be nice. Better lighting at entrance near hotel sign needed.

The entrance driveway from the main road needs to have better lighting and signage for a safe entry. Rooms need safes and microwaves. This is a tourist destination and could use some updates

Air conditioner was loud, went on and off frequently. Disturbed sleep

Too expensive

Ez drive to Lenox & Tanglewood....plenty of parking. Grabbed a room last minute & front desk was great about being sure it was ready. Husband happy to have a cookie at check-in! Always love having a coffee maker in room & nice little buffet breakfast included.

We spent one night in a King room on the ground floor. The room was surprisingly large with a nice couch, TV with plenty of channels. Bed was very comfortable, shower had nice hot water, microwave and fridge were perfect. The gym had several treadmills, all working well. Only complaint was the waffle machines at breakfast were "not in working order", a bit of a disappointment. I would stay again but would very much appreciate the waffles !

We used the Hampton Inn & Suites Berkshires-Lenox as the base for our visit to the Berkshires. As a former Diamond and now a Gold member of the Hilton Honors program, I have a certain amount of loyalty to the ever-expanding Hilton brands and have probably stayed in around 100 Hampton Inns over the years. This one is a fairly mediocre example of these trusty motels. It's neither terrible nor great. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable and everything works. But the room decor and design is dated and seems to have been been designed and decorated by someone without much architectural or interior design training. Frankly, the room was sort of ugly and a little depressing. This property is one of the older Inn & Suites I've stayed in, though it is still in pretty good condition. The staff was okay, not particularly good or bad. The breakfast ladies were nice, though. However, the complimentary breakfast was somewhat below average for a Hampton, especially since the waffle makers were out of order and the selection of hot food (sausages, bacon, eggs, etc.) and other items was limited. Also, the location of this Hampton was a little odd, up a short drive from the main road and not visible from the highway. Due to all this, I would definitely take a look at the Courtyard by Marriott that is a couple of miles away. The prices (around $200 including taxes) are about the same, and while I didn't actually go into the Courtyard property, it sure looked more appealing than this older Hampton.
