Campanile Swindon

Very good value for Swindon. My only gripe was the TV which did not show a steady picture and kept jumping

I was happy and felt welcomed but to my surprised I asked for microwave and they said there isn’t any and so needed to microwave my food and I slept on empty stomach, aside this everything was okay.

Our room had no cold water, we changed rooms but after showers the water pressure was very low again. The tv channels were very poor.only one of the bedside lights worked, the desk light didn’t work.

Booked two rooms for 2 nights, for family christmas gathering. One family found the bed very uncomfortable and had a bad back , could feel the springs so left after staying one night. The other family stayed the 2 nights but did find it very uncomfortable

I was just needing somewhere cheap to place my head, I didn’t have high expectations. The mattress wasn’t clean, the carpets are filthy and stained. The bathroom stinked of cigarettes where people have been smoking in there.

Booked 4 rooms one of the rooms had to change as it was dirty. Loads of people taking drugs outside the hotel.

There was 2 bins, a towel, the food was hot and I had a coca cola with it. Unfortunately the lift didn't work and only one light worked. I got a bus to arrive. I had my meal and went back to the room and stayed all night. I was allowed to leave before my check out time.

Hotel room are now old and dated, had to move rooms tree time. One mattress was so bad woke up the next day with back pain. Second room the electric sockets stopped working. Stuff were very acomodating and professional. Hotel rooms need upgrading and dirty carpets need changing then I would definitely stay again
