The Ubud Village Resort & Spa

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary, we stayed 10 nights there and we could not have asked for a location. Our villa was wonderful and spacious, and the amenities were very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly, always willing to help us make the most of our holiday. Great value for money. The atmosphere was pleasant, and all though there were people working all around, we hardly noticed them and the noise level was kelp to a quiet level. We mainly stayed in our villa because that was the holiday we planned. Breakfast in our pool was a highlight for us. But there is so much to see and do close by. Hopping on the curtesy is so handy. Will highly recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing resort. Staff is lovely and helpful. The resort is huge and the villas all with private pool. I will recommend to stay here also because is in Ubud but there is no noise at all. An oasis of peace and tranquillity.

The hotel is amazing. Private pools in the rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful food is amazing and complimentary afternoon tea for all guests. Beautiful surroundings and swim up bar at the main pool. Unfortunately the water was off for a few hours on our last day and compensated by two free massages in the exceptional spa. Very happy

We did a roundtrip through Java and Bali and stayed at 7 Hotels in total and Ubud Village Resort was our personal highlight. All staff is absolutely lovely and takes great care of the guests. The resort itself is just breathtaking (we had a garden view villa with private pool) and for our honeymoon we received such a wonderful welcome decoration. The food was great and we treated ourselves to a floating breakfast in our pool and a private romantic dinner in our villa. It was perfect and we would love to come back - but then longer than just two nights. A perfect place to unwind and relax completely but if you want close to the city center of Ubud for shopping or some nice day trips in the surrounding area.

Our stay exceeded all expectations it was amazing from start to finish The location is excellent whilst in the hotel its calm relaxing and beautiful but then once outside the hotel few minutes walk takes you right into the hustle and bustle of Ubud with loads of shops bars restaurants and attractions near by Every single one of the staff where lovely always greeted with a smile nothing was ever too much to ask made us feel very welcome We enjoyed a massage in the spa that was very relaxing Our villa we stayed in was lovely the bed was super comfy the pool and chill area fantastic even the extra little thoughts of a welcome message little gift of fruit even leaving us mosquito spray to ensure we stay protected was very kind The food we couldn’t fault it was delicious and service was excellent breakfast was amazing little menu changes ment there was always something new to try each day I would highly recommend the place and will definitely hope to go back in the near future with my family

Fabulous! 🩷✨ Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean — everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The pools were stunning, with crystal-clear water and plenty of space to relax and unwind. The attention to detail really stood out — even the small touches like complimentary bug spray showed how thoughtful and guest-focused the hotel is. Every area, from the lobby to the gardens, was immaculate, and it’s clear the staff take great pride in keeping the property in perfect condition. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — a true five-star stay in every sense! Highly recommended.

The staff at this hotel make this a truly magical stay. Service from every single member of the team exceeded all expectations. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed lots of meals here. Breakfast really is excellent!

Dear Ubud village resort I have returned safely to Japan. It was a refreshing and wonderful vacation. The food was delicious and I was able to try my favorite Jamu. The massage at the spa was amazing! This is my fourth time at Ubud Village Resort, and I would like to stay again next year. Thank you for your hospitality.

This result was just stunning. All the attention to detail from the welcome drinks to the turn down service was beautiful. The staff are so nice and friendly and it makes such a difference. The rooms themselves are incredible and so easy just to spend all of your time in there. The restaurant and spa weren’t the best, breakfast was fab but dinner was a little bit slow for service and sometimes disorganised. But the food was good and the portion sizes were pretty big. The spa was really nice in terms of how it’s decorated, we also bought some products from there as well. But we had a hair mask at the end and the steamer didn’t work in some of the tools needed replacing and it seemed like the treatment was just rushed a bit at the end so the team could go home. It was good value for money, though. The resort itself is on a rice paddy and it is so beautiful to walk around. The hotel provides umbrellas so if it is raining, you are covered if you’re going from place to place and even my new details as a little welcome sign personalised to you and mosquito repellent are provided. It is a little bit further out of Ubud but it’s easy enough to get a taxi or a grab into the centre. I can’t recommend this place enough!
