The Ubud Village Resort & Spa

Charming resort with a very courteous staff and always ready at any time to satisfy customer requests. We had a villa with a pool and a cozy private bathtub and equipped with all the comforts. Even the infinity pool in the main part of the structure and the SPA service have contributed to days of total relax

I had booked here last year and bought a 'package' including a private villa dinner and massage. So glad I did. Our private dinner was lovely (especially the set up!) and our massages were great. It is not a big resort, and yet the grounds are extensive. The villas are about 200 sq meters with their own pool (which is great with the heat in Ubud). We really enjoyed having the space to spread out and relax, and we barely ever saw many other guests. We took advantage of the gym (decent) and yoga on offer, as well as the afternoon tea and the happy hour drink specials (2 for 1 on certain cocktails :). Even though we had our own pool, the resort pool is massive and wasn't at all busy. Breakfast each morning was great, as they change the menu daily, and it's substantial. We left the property to sightsee and walk around the craziness that is Ubud, but it was such a joy to come back to the quiet of the property and our chill villa. Highly recommend

Stunning resort in the heart of Ubud. Yes the traffic is horrendous with so many cars and mopeds around Ubud itself, but this resort is so peaceful and tranquil you would never know. The staff are wonderful and the food is exceptional. The complimentary afternoon tea was an added bonus we were not aware of before arriving and the pool area is beautiful. We villas themselves are so spacious and offer more than we needed for our stay. We stayed here with our two teenage sons after 4 busy days in Singapore, so this place was exactly what we needed to chill and relax. We got the shuttle service into Ubud one day and joined a walk organised by the hotel one morning. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and we would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone.

I i and my friends stayed two days in this beatiful resort. amazing I travel a lot around the world and i thing the ubud village resort and S.p.A. is one of my favorite . The people are nice and very careful. the attention for us . It was impressive. We booked an half day tour and we'd an important occasion to know Karang (the most nice driver We've ever met in our life) . we appreciate a lot his attention and his kindness . the best. Piki took care of us also when we left the hotel. great and excpetional experience. The location is wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ubud Village Resort & Spa during our Bali trip as a family of four. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and attentiveness. The atmosphere of the resort is serene, lush, and authentically Balinese — exactly what we were looking for after a long journey. The garden villas are spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by tropical greenery that gives a true sense of privacy and tranquility. We appreciated the traditional architecture blended with modern comfort — especially the outdoor shower and the generous terrace. The rooms were immaculate and refreshed daily with great care. We also want to thank the team for their flexibility and attention to our request for two side-by-side villas, which made it much more convenient for our family. The pool area is stunning, surrounded by rice fields and nature — perfect for relaxation. The breakfast was varied and delicious, with options to suit both adults and kids, and the staff always went out of their way to accommodate our preferences. The in-house spa is also worth mentioning — peaceful setting and excellent treatments. The front desk team helped us organize a private day tour, including local temples and scenic spots on our way from Kuta, which made the transfer itself a beautiful part of the trip. This is not a flashy resort, but a place with soul, sincerity, and exceptional hospitality. It’s ideal for travelers who seek calm, cultural connection, and heartfelt service. We would definitely return on our next trip to Bali. Thank you to the entire team for making our Ubud stay so special.

The hotel is incredible but the staff are absolutely amazing. The lodges were spotless, well appointed and always cleaned each day. Food on site was very good and the spa was great. Grounds always kept to a high standard. But the staff were always amazing, happy, friendly, smiling and no request was refused. As a vegan, they also provided really good options and alternatives. Incredible place.

The hotel is located in the middle of ‘Nature’. Trees and fields all around even though it is located near Ubud center. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are big and clean and the resort is extremely comfortable. The spa was a very nice experience. You should definitely try it. Nice food in the restaurant and especially the a la carte breakfast. The afternoon tea in the café is a very good idea and I enjoyed it a lot. We also had a candle light dinner in the villa which was amazing. The hotel offers shuttle so it is easy to visit the center of Ubud. The monkey forest is worth a visit.

Absolute paradise and great service. This is a nice relaxing place and will definitely be coming back and the staff are so helpful. The food that was provided was excellent.
