The Ubud Village Resort & Spa

Currently in the room and could not sleep even for a minute . The small patio in the room opens to the bed . No curtain facility . The blinds don’t work. The outside lights lit up the room in the night . The day light hasn’t let us sleep for a minute . I have been wide awake since 4 am. No cups in the room for your morning cuppa. No extra water delivered timely. Didn’t have extra water bottles in the room. It seemed a pain to call housekeeping at an odd hour and walk towards the main dingy pathway of the villa to take delivery hence was parched the whole night .

No words, my partner and I loved every moment here…. I have to commend all the staff, they are such lovely people, smiles all around and so happy to talk to you. The villa was so beautiful, the food was colourful and tasty. They offer so many experiences, we were lucky to have the candle light dinner and breakfast basket in the pool! All in all, my partner and I loved our stay and are definitely coming back again soon!

Our family stayed here for 3 nights as part of a week in Bali; parents and 2 boys (23 & 17). This is a very spacious and relaxing place to stay. The rooms are large and self contained, with separate entrances. Ideal for couples. The breakfast menu is extensive, healthy and varies each morning. The quality is excellent, every dish. The staff everywhere are very pleasant and helpful. They work hard but are always smiling!! Special thanks to "Dody" who helped us most kindly and also to the restaurant staff where we enjoyed an amazing meal with musical entertainment one evening. We also enjoyed using the pool area, gym and massage which were excellent and an important part of the overall experience. Recommend this place for 2-3 nights at least; best to spend the day here rather than touring ! This hotel is some distance from UBUD Center but the hotel operates a shuttle to its sister hotel there. Taxis are plentiful and inexpensive marking it easy.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ubud Village Resort & Spa and had an unforgettable experience! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive and always happy to help. The villa was spacious, private and immaculate. We also received a bedtime story every evening to immerse even more in the Balinese culture and traditions. The breakfast was delicious - I can still remember the taste of the fresh dragon fruit juice. The restaurant also served delicious dinner. The Balinese massage for couple was refreshing! Plus the resort's landscape is breathtaking. We really want to come back! I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to taste the Balinese hospitality at its best!

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon, and our stay was beyond our expectations. The service and hospitality from the staff was outstanding the moment we arrived, always friendly, courteous, and helpful. We ate a few times at the restaurant, and enjoyed the daily afternoon tea, and the food was delicious and fresh every single time. The restaurant service was also exceptional, being so accommodating and aware of our nut allergy. We also enjoyed some of the amenities such as the spa, for a rellaxing and traditional balinese massage The accommodation was also beautiful, having our own little private villa. It was very clean, and spacious, and it was so cool to have our own private spaces like a patio and pool. Lastly, the attention to detail the staff put in was some of the best I've ever experienced. From having a welcome sign with our names, to the flower petals and private dinner to celebrate our honeymoon, to the hand delivered bedtime stories, we really felt like we received the utmost special treatment. It was one of the best hotel experiences we've had, and we are thankful to have spent part of our honeymoon at the Ubud Village Resort & Spa.

I liked - friendly staff - large villas - lovely resort - complementary afternoon tea - restaurant for dinner was nice - free shuttle bus service - mosquito box came in handy! I didn't like - spa times not consistent with website - spa appointments bookings / could not make use of the happy hour discounts - free photo shoot is not free! Had to pay +1 million IDR for 10 photos! This should be advertised as special offer rather than free as this was very misleading.

An oasis of calm and a truly mazing place. Big open spaces but not too many lodges so it never feels too busy. Amazing staff and facilities and food (afternoon tea included) and the rooms with their own pools are something else! Would definitely return.

We had a great time in Ubud and this property was stunning! We stayed for 6 nights in a 1 bed pool villa. It was GORGEOUS. the room itself was very open concept. The pool and daybed/cabana was so convenient. The main pool was beautiful. The food was delicious and the drinks were good too. For us - the cocktails were VERY sweet so we didn’t fully enjoy that, but that’s just a personal preference, nothing to do with the resort. unfortunately knocking a star as the actual service for drinks and food…. It was extremely slow. ordering a single can of Coke at the pool bar (with no one else there) it took 15 minutes to bring over. For cocktails sometimes longer. For breakfast and dinner, there were times we waited an hour for our food. One morning we actually didn’t even get our breakfast. I understand creating a relaxing atmosphere but I feel an hour is a bit long. Overall we had an amazing time at the resort and I’d recommend it to others! Just be prepared to wait a bit !!

Incredible hotel with great facilities, shame we were only here for 1 night and had an early wake up for sunrise - very noisy with neighbours and jungle wildlife though!
