The Ubud Village Resort & Spa

One week stay - was amazing. Never met friendlier People than in Bali! Just wonderful People. Would give the Hotel 6 stars* if possible, Food was perfect - Staff perfect - Service Perfect. Only „downside“ is that the Villas could use a renovation. Please keep this Place small like this Small and good organized!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful resort, nestled in the tranquility of the rice fields and blissfully removed from the chaos of central Ubud. Everything about the resort is top-notch, but special mention must go to the exceptional staff, from the gardeners to the management, who were consistently warm, attentive, and professional. The resort is a little way from the centre of Ubud, but a convenient shuttle service is available. That said, traffic in Ubud can be quite chaotic, and while the distance is technically walkable, the lack of pavements and heavy traffic make it less than ideal on foot. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the hotel each day, and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for a hotel of this standard. Unfortunately, it rained throughout our four-day stay, so we didn’t get to fully enjoy the villa pools or the main pool, but they are beautifully set and would be a highlight in better weather. The villas themselves are spacious, peaceful, and set in lovely private gardens, offering a real sense of seclusion and calm. Overall, a truly memorable stay in a stunning setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature without sacrificing comfort or service.

We (my husband, me and our 16 year old daughter) stayed for 4 nights in the Ubud village resort and spa. We had an excellent welcome when we arrived. We stayed in a suite with our own pool which was great, but could use the other facilities too. The resort was very relaxing and peaceful even though it was a short walk from Ubud. The breakfasts were amazing, we could also have complementary afternoon tea which we tried and really enjoyed. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Everything about this resort was top notch; the crazy traffic ended at the doors; the resort was serene, peaceful , clean and perhaps the most friendly and attentive staff; the spa was top notch and so was the dining; so close to all the shopping and restaurants and the monkey forest was just 10 min away;

The Ubud Village Resort & Spa is a beautiful property with incredibly elevated amenities. But what made our experience here so special was the people that work here. From Dodi at the front desk, to Yulia at the restaurant. Everything about our stay was perfection. The staff took the time to learn about us and everything that we wanted to experience while in Ubud. The Saturday night BBQ and Balinese dance show they have was such a great cultural experience. And if you enjoy cooking, the cooking class they offer on site is an absolute must. This was my second visit to ubud village and spa and it was just as beautiful as I remembered. The property is so close to town but it could be a million miles away from everything. When you walk into the grounds from reception you are greeted with a gorgeous stone resort lapped by acres of lush green grass vibrant rice paddies and the most stunning gardens. The jewell of the property is the massive main pool that accommodated our weary bodies with daybeds cocktails and cool blue water. Our villas were lovely and extremely generous in size with great aircon and huge comfy beds. From these we stepped out into our own private pools and found it hard to decide whether to swim in the main pool or private so we did both. We felt like we had the redort to ourselves most of the time and seriously only saw people at breakfast which I might add was delicious. The other drawers was the free daily shuttle into town which made exploring outside the resort very very stress free. It was a most stunning stay and we will return. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I’m not one to write a review but from the top to the bottom the service, staff members, quality of food, I could go on, were just what you expect from your holiday. I cannot fault any aspect of this resort we had a truly wonderful time. Everyone was so helpful, happy and nothing was too much to ensure we did not have to think I’m about anything other than enjoying our time together. The reception team helped us with restaurant recommendations and booked trips using the resort vehicles (completely private). 1 member, Riski, booked our ATV trip with transfers and we have a cracking time rip roaring through the jungle and waterfalls. This resort is a must for anyone wanting to be close enough to Ubud town using the free shuttle service in the day and a £2 taxi ride at night but being slightly less chaotic as the busy Ubud streets. We went out most nights and in the 4 days feel we saw everything we wanted. We stayed in a Villa with a pool for 2 people, the kids also had one, they could not believe the luxury they had. I personally loved a private outdoor shower each morning and listening to what can only be described as the sounds of the rainforest morning and night when outside. Inside was complete peace for a good rest in prep for the next day. Thank you to all the staff at Ubud Village Resort and Spa we had the best time staying with you.

We came to Bali to relax, be pampered and experience the Balinese culture and the Ubud village Resort played a huge part in us achieving this and more. From the wonderfully manicured gardens and rice fields to the beautifully dressed villas, the personal swimming pools to the tremendous restaurant and pool bar the ambience of the resort created a zen experience that we have never encountered before. The Dava Spa was tremendous, we had 3 treatments each which were delivered by very experienced therapists and the fruit & tea afterwards made the experience even greater. Finally what can we say about the staff. Every single member of staff at this resort cannot do enough for you, to make your stay special. Each snd every one of them we met are a credit to the business and set the standard for hospitality worldwide, honestly we are not exaggerating, they are that good. All in all a dream holiday, one we will recommend to all friends and family back home and to everyone looking to come to Bali.

We had a wonderful time at the Ubud Village Resort & Spa. It was an oasis of peace and tranquility, the grounds are beautiful lush and green. It even has its own rice fields. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, they really couldn’t do enough for you. Every single one of them would greet us with a smile. A big shout out to Karang who took us out on a trip. We had a big problem withdrawing cash from the ATM which left us without cash. He even gave us his own money so that we could do the trip. We could not believe his kindness and were so grateful. The people of Bali are very special. We ate at the restaurant here every night as we found the centre of Ubud a little too hectic for us and we wanted to avoid the dreaded Bali belly. The food was good and reasonable. Breakfast was delicious and the menu changed daily. Every afternoon there is a delicious afternoon tea between 3-4pm. Our private lodge was stunning with our own pool. There was a beautiful outside bath and shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable. We will definitely come back and highly recommend if you want somewhere to completely relax and unwind in the most stunning setting.

We stayed in The Ubud Village Resort & Spa for 5 nights. What a great experience, from the private villa with private pool, the infinity pool, the tranquil environment, the amazing breakfast to the great evening restaurant. It is an excellent resort well worth coming back to.
