Lovely time at the hotel again. Came out to meet family that flew out earlier. This is our second visit, and will not be our last. The staff are so kind, helpful and are very good at their jobs.

Entertainment team were great! Lots going on in hotel and food was great

3rd and likely last time at this Hotel. Location of Hotel is Odd is that transfer buses don’t frop you off outside. Not sure why hotel don’t just adjust the front parking/turning area to allow bus entry, but you basically get dropped off bottom of the hill and have to walk up the street to hotel. The stop is outside, bottom corner of the hotel. Entrance is around the corner and up the hill from drop-off bus stop. Checkin was quick. Free safe included, 20 euro deposit each for sunbed towels(2 cards that you exchange for towels with lifeguard). Wrist band door entry to rooms. We rejected the 1st room. Vey tired floor. Laminate flooring all wafer damaged. Images attached. 2nd room was better, but still had water damaged areas on the Laminate floor. In walking by other rooms being cleaned, noticed damaged Laminate floors common. Shabby Flooring. This hotel is dated and really needs all the hallways and rooms refurbed. Was no different maybe 3 years ago on last visit. Very dreary unimpressive walk to the rooms. Empty Fridge in room worked well. You need to remove the tape to get the shelf out to fill. Air Con was useless. Asked via Iberostar App for it to be looked at and same after. 22.5’C minimum, even though asking for min 6’C. Iberostar are very eco aware and guess they are controlling the minimum temp. Was same last year at Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park in Playa Blanca and that was 5*. As with other Iberostars theres a water carafe in the room and a chilled water dispenser in the hall so no need to ask for water, or buy water for room. Maid service was good. The hotel need to ditch the ecofriendly hand cream and conditioner in the WC/Shower room. They smell like White spirit mixed whith gloss paint. Not something you want your hands or hair smelling of. Supplied Shower gel and shampoo all ok. Theres no waiter service at tables. Everything is self service apart from the walk up too bars. Ques never too long. 5 or 6 at most and service pretty quick. Bars offer olives/crisps and nuts along with drinks. Some cocktails were mixed for you, but a fair few were premixed. Local brand Baileys was not nice. Self Serve Beer and Alco free Beer was good. Cornettos, Ice Lollies, tea coffee, fruit Juices avail all day at pool bar area. Service starts at 10am. Food in the Restaurant not really up to what weve been getting from other 4* Hotels lately. Breakfast..Omlette bar was good. Catering sausages were not the best. No Back bacon, just streaky. All the other usual offering for breakfast. Chef will supply pancakes, poached bolied or fried eggs. Hash browns not there every day which was odd, while wedges there every day. Lunch service decent. Theres also the snack bar outside that offering burgers/pizza/toasties/and odd snacks. Not a replacement for lunch, more a snack. Dinner service could have been better. Burgers / Chicken steak / 1 fish choice was the norm on the chef display. Sometimes the 1st 2 options were swapped out with steak(veal) offered twice in 7 days, prawns/shrimp, Calamari, Pork. In general it was similar most nights. Quality was ok but small thin pieces of meat/fish. There was also a Roast area that I didn’t pay much attention too. Saw Roast chicken there once which the mrs used. Wasn’t avail again in 7 days. Also Leg of Ham there one day. Pudding selection is very limited. Think is was 3 maybe 4 ice cream flavours avail. Pudding selection the smallest ive seen in a 4* hotel. Adequate but smaller than normal for us. It’s a large restaurant which is a real shame, as could be better used, if the duplication was removed. The hotel duplicate the choices at one end of the restaurant on the other side, so limiting choice. There also doesn’t seem to be any themes either. Ie Mexican night or Canarian night. Nothings advertised. If it were a them night, you wouldn’t know. I think it would be better for the hotel also to ditch the App Based and TV based activity info. Its so difficult to view on those screens as they info flashes past before you have time to read. Nothing at all that we witnessed either to tell you what evening entertainment there was or when on. Saw water polo on one day and wasn’t aware and also archery. Just not aware as its not in you face advertised as in other hotels with Boards. Entertainment seemed to be 9pm – 10:45 between the pool area and reception, with 2 artists performing. Don’t think we will visit again as food not on par with our recent hotels. Also, the rooms are not special. They are average to poor.

Fantastic relaxing break away at Iberostar Waves Las Dalias, thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed 9 nights and felt hotel excellent certainly would like to visit again. Food is beautiful in help yourself restaurant or at snack bar outside. Drinks plentiful can help yourself all day long either to hot coffee or to a drink from the bar. Swimming pool warm and large plenty of room. Entertainment team bril and evening entertainment very good. We had a lovely room overlooking pool area. All people working in hotel very friendly and helpful at all times. All in all a great holiday.
