Iberostar Waves Las Dalias -All Inclusive

We are just back from a week at Iberostar Las Dalias and we didn’t stop smiling the whole time we were there! The atmosphere is contagious, you can’t help but smile and dance as you walk around the resort and a lot of other people felt the same way (we bumped into loads of repeat visitors). The entertainment crew are full of energy all day long. They always made a point to stop and interact with our son every time they passed us (even though he is a shy child and didn’t say too much back) and they worked hard to get the kids involved in the mini disco they did each afternoon; they even got our son up and dancing by the end of the week! There were also games and events during the day (a foam mat runway that went into the pool and you had to try and reach the end before falling off) and a kids club to keep the kids entertained during the day. On friday they hosted a foam party for families and that was a LOT of fun for everyone involved!

A great hotel, something for everyone, a great range of food , activities for the kids and two stages for shows. The staff go above and beyond to make this a great stay. Breakfast, lunch, casual dress, for dinner men have to wear a t-shirt or shirt , but can still wear shorts , not a problem. Sunbathing area for everyone and a part just for adults with jacuzzi and you'll be pleased to know sunbeds can't be saved for more than 45 minutes. Beds comfortable, handheld showers, but can be put into a slot for normal. I would highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again

I had visited this hotel 25 years ago when the kids were small and loved it then it’s not changed it’s got better. The location was very central for shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. It has a really friendly atmosphere with staff and guests which I feel is the normal vibe always. The rooms are a wee bit tired but spotless and having a pool view room it had a large balcony to sunbathe or chill with a wine. The food was fresh and varied and always hot and dishes replenished regularly. It is great value for money and has everything for a family or couple holiday. The entertainment was amazing and you actually wouldn’t need to leave the hotel. The entertainment staff day and night were superb. We were a large group of 14 adults and 2 children as we were celebrating my friends 60th birthday. The restaurant staff set the table beautifully with a bucket of fizz on hand. Marina in reception helped with the arrangements for dinner as it was a surprise and we had table decorations, banners and balloons. It was memorable for my friends 60th birthday and the waiters sang happy birthday and waved the napkins while singing. Thank you to all the staff for making it special. We will be back x

★★★☆☆ Just returned from a 2-week stay at Iberostar Las Dalias, and I have to admit I’m a bit disappointed this time around. I’ve stayed here around 10 times before and always loved it, which makes this visit feel even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t up to its usual standard. Quite a few meals were either cold or overcooked, which isn’t what we’ve come to expect. The snack bar, however, was still great and probably the most consistent option during the day. We also had no electricity for two mornings. The first time we were told in advance, but the second time there was no notification at all — reception didn’t even seem aware. It was pretty inconvenient, especially as we were meeting friends and I couldn’t even dry my hair. There was also work going on around the pool area for most of the holiday. No water carpet and constant tapping/drilling noises (felt like Chinese water torture after two weeks!) which definitely affected the relaxing atmosphere. The post-mix drinks were poor quality too — we actually ended up buying cans from the shop to use as mixers. Our room wasn’t great either. I know renovations are happening, but for £2k for two weeks I expected better. The dresser was chipped badly, air con barely worked, and the cleaning wasn’t up to standard. To be fair, when we spoke to reception they acted quickly and sorted things, which we appreciated — but ideally these issues shouldn’t have happened in the first place. I still love this hotel and have another stay booked, so I’m really hoping this was just an off visit and it returns to the wonderful Las Dalias we know and love.

This is the 5th time I’ve stayed at this hotel in the last 10 yrs and it just keeps getting better and better. The hotel has had some renovations since I was there last time. You no longer need to pay for the safe which is good. Your room key is now attached to your wrist band and check out is now 12pm. I booked a pool view room which I would definitely recommend people to do, but we were given a free upgrade to a sea view room on the top floor. The view was stunning and the room was lovely. Housekeeping comes in every day and the room was spotless not even any dust under the bed. Fresh towels every day and the beds are super comfy. We found the air conditioning worked well, we did switch it off at night as it is January and a bit cooler in the evening. The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing, especially the entertainment team who kept us busy all day with activities (big thanks to Vasilij who was an absolute star). I can’t comment on the evening entertainment as we went out every night to the entertainment in the bars. The best thing about this hotel is the food, it was absolutely fantastic, honestly amazing, and you can get premium drinks too !!!! The pool’s fabulous, one is heated which was great. I cannot wait to go back to this hotel.

Me and my family had a great time, Food was excellent, can't fault the entertainment and the entertainment staff were brilliant and always making sure we were having a great time.

We’ve had an absolutely fantastic time, the entertainment staff are absolutely wonderful, they’ve genuinely made our trip. Special shout out to Vasilij who was the highlight.
