Home away from home! Playa Linda is our home away from home! The resort is stunning, peaceful, and impeccably maintained—but what truly sets it apart is the sense of family. A huge thank you to Rygell Boye for always going above and beyond. His warmth and professionalism, made our trips even more special. His help throughout our stay made everything smooth and unforgettable. Thank you, Playa Linda and thank you, Rygell—you both have our hearts! 💙🌴

The staff is extremely polite and goes above and beyond! The accommodations are clean & well maintained. There are many food options on the premises and all have delicious affordable meals. I highly recommend Scott’s Brats, Eduardo’s, Carlito’s and Chicken and Lobster (early bird special is fabulous). We truly look forward to early mornings on the beach and being able to see the fish and crabs move about while sun rises. Curtis with his joking personality and Rygell with his professionalism make sure everything goes smoothly on the beach. We had the pleasure of returning this year for the 3rd time and look forward to returning again!

Wonderful resort. Have stayed over a dozen times. Friendliest staff on the island. You get to know everyone by name and they feel like family. Boye Rygell is the head of the beach staff and is the friendliest and attentive person I have come across. Actually all of the staff is like that. You can’t go wrong here. Beach attendant Kirk is one of the friendliest and jovial people you will ever meet.

Our experience was much better this year. Without Jessie—who used to act like he owned the hotel, made a lot of money in tips, and was always bossy and rude to families on vacation—it was a completely different atmosphere. Now, with the presence of Rygell Boye and the charming Redsonn, our stay was incredibly better. Congratulations, Playa Linda! Replacing that staff member was an excellent decision and made our experience uniquely positive. I’ve been coming to Aruba almost every year since I was 10, and there’s always been this chaos with beach and pool chairs. Even though it’s still absurd to have to wake up at 4:00 a.m. to reserve a chair, Playa Linda truly won us over thanks to Rygell Boye and the friendly Redsonn.

We were at our home away from home, Playa Linda last week. In our 25 years of visiting the island, we never saw the amount of wind and rain that fell on the island for 3 days straight. It was disappointing for sure, but the weather is not the only reason we come to Aruba. The people who live and work on the island are the reason we come every year. They are warm, welcoming and take pride in caring for the visitors that love their island home. One of those people is Junior Lawrence, a bellman at Playa Linda. As we were leaving Playa Linda yesterday, Junior met us in the lobby to hep weigh our suitcases prior to leaving for the airport. One of our friends had a suitcase that weighed 62 pounds. Junior took the time to help her redistribute her items to reduce the weight of her bag so she would not have to pay the airline for an overweight bag. That is one of the many great experiences we have had with Junior over the years. If you have the pleasure of meeting him, you will see why we love him so much!

So beautiful there!! The temperatures were nice and hot! Staff was amazing! Rygell Boye was always so friendly and so helpful!

Playa Linda is in the perfect spot - we didn't take a taxi or service all week except to and from the airport. Never had a problem with getting a palapa. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and grounds were very nice.

Another perfect vacation! Our staff at Playa is without a doubt the absolute best on the island. Starting with our bellman: Junior, Diego, Wesley getting everyone settled as quickly as possible. Check-in was a breeze at the front desk thank you Eileen. Housekeeping headed by Ms. Ingrid does an outstanding job. Our housekeepers on the 4th and 5th floors did a wonderful job. We returned everyday to a spotless room. No complaints. Rigell was a welcome addition to the beach. He is such a wonderful, kind, considerate young man and always took the time to chat with the guests and make us feel so welcome. He definitely had everything running tip top. Of course Santo my favorite beach attendant always gives 100% with a smile on his face. No one is faster than Santo getting everyone settled in their chairs. We always look forward to seeing him. And we can’t forget Kurt and Gaspar always so pleasant and helpful too. All and all a great stay. Can’t wait for September!

I was lied to multiple times by two managers . Blatant, obvious lies. These are not smart honest people , when I called out these lies I was threatened with room charges. I don’t trust them with my credit card now. Renting out my units until management changes and will stay elsewhere. Playa Linda went from my home away from home for decades to a rental property.

Dear Everyone at the Playa Linda I would like to give a huge Thank You to the Playa Linda in Aruba. My husband Matt and I stay at the PL for 3 months in the Winter. The place is great the staff is amazing we are always so happy here and even hate to go home after 3 months. This year Monday May 11 was our last week here, and on that morning we contacted our Taxi driver and wonderful friend Win to ask him his opinion on where I should go because i had severe pains in my Stomach. He instantly dropped everything and picked us up and took us to the hospital. He went in with us helped get me checked in and waited with us for at least an hour. After waiting 8 hrs for numerous test results we were informed I had blockage in my intestine that needed surgery immediately. The Surgeon was out playing tennis as he was on call that evening he was at the hospital in no time they prepped me and 30 mins later I was in surgery. Thank god the surgery did not require cutting of my intestines it was an abscess that had formed and connected to my intestines. He went in fixed it 2 hrs later I was in recovery. I spent 4 days in the Hospital on liquid antibiotics and a drainage tube. The hospital was amazing the nurses the doctors and the surgeon. To be in a foreign country having this happen was the biggest scare ever. They made me feel very comfortable explained everything to me as the days went on. Well enough about me my point if this is to say Thank you to Everyone !!! The island and Playa Linda are true friends. My phone and Matt’s phone never stopped. From the staff at Playa Linda, Pauline, Mario, Diego , Junior, Monique and Gregory. The lobby bar ( The Avenue) staff Catalina, Jessie, Stephanie and Luis. The staff at Azzuurios Kadeem, Brian, Karol, Legna And my buddy Ernando My dear friend Zonia from the beach bar. Who checked on me everyday even after I was home. Who offered everyday to see if I needed anything. My dear friend Win who called every single day and came to the hospital to make sure everything was going well. Taxi 198 To everyone that offered help thank you !! The thoughts and prayers and over the top kind words will never be forgotten!! 🩷🩷 The continuous text and Calls of anything you need anything you want anything Matt needs you let us know!!
