Playa Linda Beach Resort

Place is nice pool and beach staff awesome but our rooms in our townhouse TV didn't work and after trying to rectify it the manager alda said I shouldn't watch TV on vacation and was extremely rude.

Jessie works security at the resort. He is professional, friendly, and takes the safety of the guest very seriously. I appreciate him going above and beyond everyday.

We booked this trip last minute and had wanted to stay at the Hyatt but could not get rooms. This was a great alternative. The kitchen and separate living room were helpful with a family and the grounds were very comfortable and well maintained. I was nervous about our choice when we were sent a list of rules during pre-check in that seemed uptight and not family friendly, but they were very laid back and seemed to just want to ensure everyone was respectful of one another. The location was perfect - shopping and food directly across the street, several restaurants onsite, and we loved the beach path (starts halfway through the Holiday Inn and goes to the end of Palm Beach). The beach was very nice and it was easy to hop from pool to beach. An added bonus being a timeshare was many kids knew each other from years of vacationing the same week and my teens easily met a group to hang out with. The onsite dining was also good. Everyone loves Eduardo’s and Azzurro has a great view and is an easy and relatively affordable choice for lunch. Parking was plentiful and exceedingly easy as well. You do need to wake up impossibly early for a first or second row chickee, but the attendant was helpful and a back row one could usually be found until about 9am. Also this is a timeshare so there are trade offs with that. It has many amenities but isn’t a full service hotel, but the kitchen and space is nice to have.

We love to come to the Playa Linda each and every year and are never disappointed. We look forward to coming back to this beautiful resort, enjoying the on-site restaurants such as Azzuros , Eduardos and Kouzinas; using the Kids club, playing Bingo, and just relaxing by the pool. The beach and security attendant, Rygell B, is amazing - he treats the guests with great respect and is always making sure that guests at both the beach and pool are taken care of and happy. The rooms are always very clean and the staff is fabulous year to year, which is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. This resort is also located in a prime spot on Palm Beach- the pool deck walks directly to the ocean and directly across the street you have shops and tons of places to eat. Definitely the best location of any resort we have seen on the island.

The staff was absolutely the best!!! Made sure we had everything we needed and interacted with our kids every time walking through the lobby and down by the beach! Shout out to Rygell and Junior!!

We vacation at Playa Linda annually. We love it here. Comfortable with the staff, they treat us like family. A new addition to the beach is Rygell Boye what a breath of FRESH AIR! So professional and RESPECTFUL!! Please PLEASE keep him as the head beach attendant. It was pleasant for EVERYONE! Job well done and extremely appreciated.

Playa Linda has been considered our "Home Away from Home" for the past 17+ years and this year was no different. The resort prides itself on the comfort and care they provide. With this, I'd like to recognize the service received from two of the bellmen, Junior & Wesley. From arrival to departure, I give praise to their customer service orientation. Always greeting with a smile and conversation; making sure that we knew their availability if we needed anything. I also like to recognize Rygell, Beach Security. In our prior visits, you could always count on Jesse to come around and record your Chickee location for the day. Although, I have seen some complaints over the years from various owners, I've never had any issues with him. Having said this, I can't say enough good things about Rygell. In addition to always having the coffee ready in the morning, he was always good for a friendly conversation, whether if it was at the coffee hut or the times you would see him on the beach. He was always professional, while maintaining a courteous and friendly demeanor whenever you encountered him during his shift. This is not a knock against Jesse, as I have no complaints about him; but, Rygell was a welcome addition to the team. Kudos to him and all the staff of the resort.

Been going to Aruba and staying at Playa Linda since the late 80's. Playa Linda has been my family's home away from home. The staff is what has always made the experience great. For me, some folks that are important to menition are; i) Junior, Diego and the entire bell hop team (these guys hustle and do a fantastic job handling change over/check in days), ii) the guys who work the beach; Rygell Boye, Kirk ("Champion!") and others who handle all our chickee and beach chair needs as well as offer a 6am morning cheer!, iii) Ricky and team at the Beach Bar. Ricky handles all situations with grace and there isn't a story he doesn't remember.

Beautiful resort with a beachfront location right on the main strip of town! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The beaches were clean and plenty of water activities are available within walking distance. I highly recommend this resort!

BED BUGS!!! please save yourself the headache and money. GO elsewhere, rooms are so out dated for the money paid, not clean blood one the headboards and literal bed bugs crawling on the dresser. Complained to front desk the moved us to another room 2 floors up and same issue. They need an experienced pest control company that knows how to treat for them. It's not my job to educate the staff on what they are and how to treat for them. Spraying baseboards does nothing!
