Playa Linda Beach Resort

I'm staying at the Hyatt Hotel for the second year in a row. I was strolling around the Playa Linda Hotel when I met this wonderful person, Rygel Boye He was very kind and helped me with some nearby restaurants. I will definitely be back.

Playa Linda must be the best resort on the island. You say why. When you get out of the cab Diago & Jr greet you with welcome home. Down on the beach it’s a different story. They took Jessie away. The beach ran well because of Jessie. He ran a tight ship. Greeting and knowing and more importantly helping people. Then to my dismay they moved Kirt to the other side of the beach. His greeting of champion just started your day right. Without his smile and words it’s not the same. I hope these things can be rectified. Pauline standing in for Yvette was great. The lobby staff is always wonderful except that Mario is in the back. And finally a smile and wave from Annaliese was the icing on the cake.

I have been coming to Playa Linda for over 20 years, and it has truly become my home away from home. I always enjoy being greeted by Diego as soon as I arrive and the other wonderful staff. This year, however, I was disappointed to learn that Jessie is no longer stationed at the beach, and his absence is certainly felt. Over the years, he was incredibly helpful to me, my family, and our friends—especially to my handicapped father, whose experience was greatly enhanced by Jessie’s kindness and attentiveness. I sincerely hope this change is temporary and that we will see Jessie back on the beach next year.

wonderful help from Junior Lawrence, he helped me rebook my fight. also has assisted me and friends here for many years!!! the service and maid service is the best, rooms are spic and span and the staff will bend over backwards to meet your needs. i highly recommend. i have come here for almost 20 years and stay for multiple weeks.

The rooms are nice and clean. Air-conditioning works really well and the water pressure in the shower is awesome. A special thanks to Anna who cleaned the room every day She is a hard worker and does a great job.

My post is not a review of Playa Linda, which I love and have been returning to for more than 15 years. It is an appeal to the administration of Playa Linda. Playa Linda is more than just a resort. It feels like home, like your own summer house — another home that you wait for all year to return to. And this feeling is created by the people who have worked here for many years. They, together with the wonderful hotel, make Playa Linda truly special. This year, on my very first day, I didn’t see Jesse on the beach. Jesse is one of those rare employees who is exactly in the right place. He has always worked with heart: keeping everything in perfect order, greeting guests warmly, and setting a positive tone for the day. His absence is immediately felt. I also want to highlight Champion — exceptionally friendly and warm. Everyone loves him: long-time guests know him as part of Playa Linda. Over the years, he has been moved around, but thankfully this time he was at his proper place. There is also a wonderful cleaning lady — Mellita warm, attentive, almost maternal. She creates a unique sense of care that cannot be replicated. All of these employees — Jesse, Champion, and this cleaning lady — create the feeling that you are returning home to people who truly care. This is rare and priceless, and it is exactly why many guests keep coming back year after year. So my message to the administration is: please cherish these employees and do not move them unnecessarily. Their presence in the right place is an essential part of the atmosphere of Playa Linda. And please, bring Jesse back to the beach. His place is exactly there, where he makes Playa Linda truly special. With respect and regards, Victoria

Playa Linda is awesome! Our first time here and in Aruba. It’s safe, secure, and they have everything covered. Room was beautiful with an ocean view and always cleaned beautifully each day. Incredible location and walking distance to countless restaurants. Beach is perfect and pool is cleans and well kept. Can’t say a bad thing. Special shoutout to Rygell Boyé for always taking care of us with the palapas!

Been coming here for years. It’s a perfect vacation spot; cozy, tropical feel, best chickees, great vibe, clean, amazing staff. The Beach and Security staff are wonderful; thank you Rygell, Jesse, Santo, Loudes, Gaspar, Captain Kirk, Jesse…everyone truly makes us feel special!

Carolina on the beach is great - smiles and is always happy. Fabiana, is new to the resort I believe, and she actually charged me $1.00 for a cup of ice, which I can get for free 10 feet away from the bar! I was shocked and brought it to her attention, but she did not care. I have owned there for over 20 years and have never been charged for a cup of ice - EVER! I don't think she fits into the "familar" mentality, I have always loved at the Playa.

We have been going to playa Linda for over 30 years. We have had wonderful experiences there over the years. This year we had an unfortunate experience that the manager Pauline had no desire to help us with. She rudely waved us away and didn’t care. I don’t want to rate the property based on one circumstance but felt people should know they may encounter an issue if there is a problem during their stay.
