Hotel Laugarbakki

From the outside I was a bit skeptical but the rooms and indoors all look new and are comfy. It’s a basic room but it was totally fine for an overnight and a good base to explore Vastnes.

Conveniently located. Had to leave the building to get to reservation and to use the hot tub. Very windy spot.

Yes the best hotel so far in 6 days driving along the ring road. Wonderful staff and service, best food from their restaurant! Was too full to use their spa after dinner. Highly recommend it. Added it to my list to revisit if possible !

Hotel restaurant is absolutely delicious. Not much in the area, but can drive to seal beaches. clean rooms.

The hotel has been recently renovated and is very clean and modern. The rooms and bathrooms are excellent, though the bathroom lacks a fan. The food was amazing, with superb breakfast and dinner options. There is ample parking available, and the staff were exceptional throughout my stay.

This is a lovely hotel. We had a large room, tall shower (important for my 6'5" husband), and nice amenities. There's an absolutely delicious restaurant on-site, which we still talk about, and breakfast had waffles (also important for my husband). The staff was really friendly, too. We're already talking about finding our way back on our next trip to Iceland for the food if nothing else!

Room was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.
