The hotel smell so bad and the carpet was dirty

Nice front desk guy, beds we’re comfortable, and my son loved the Texas shaped waffle maker at breakfast

Beds were comfortable Plenty of hot water Staff was friendly

The continental breakfast was in need of better presentation, taste and quantity. The eggs were unbearable, smelled like urine, no fresh fruit, no yogurt, hardly any cereal, no juice, waffle mix was super thick making it hard to get out of machine. Rooms were not cleaned while you were there. Had to empty our own trash, ask for trash bags and towels. A/C did not keep room cool at night, kept kicking off. Trash and spilt food in hallways, that stayed there all night and day.

Decent hotel but certainly nothing special. The room needed some TLC. Lots of chipping and damaged paint. The TV remote was missing the battery cover, so the batteries kept coming out. There was no shampoo, nor liner for the ice bucket. The continental breakfast was pretty sparse. On the flip side, the bed was super comfortable and huge. The staff were also very nice.

Room was clean but lots of rust in bathroom. No klenex in bathroom. Towels had holes and very frayed on ends. Breakfast bar was not good. Eggs were dry and overcooked. No substitute sugars for coffee. No paper towels or anything to dry hands in lobby bathroom and told attendant on first day and still none on second day.

Breakfast was appalling. I ended up going up the road to McDonald's. Hotel is in dire need of maintenance/update. It is obvious the hotel is being run into the ground. After this I would not stay at a La Quinta again. Not a good experience.

Got a free upgrade to a suite, which was nice, but the furnishings were dusty on the sides, as if they were just removed from storage; and toilet had been used and not flushed (gross). No coffee maker. In room and first floor, walls needed finishing or repair. Stairwell isn't locked to the outside. Outer doors to parking lot damaged.

nice location and front desk people were very nice

2 live cockroaches alive on their back in the walk in shower. That is Texas for you . They might need to make some adjustments in their big control department. I just killed them and flushed them as we are from Texas.
