Guildford Manor Hotel & Spa

Good location, 12 min away from city centre. The outside jacuzzi was lovely and the lobby decoration was also pretty.

The maintenance of common areas including the garden was not the best, a little swipe on the floor for the outdoor area and fixing/changing some broken chairs would have made a difference. The bedroom had a weird smell of old wood, humid carpet?

Great location, decor, garden and rooms. Good price. Enjoyed evening meal in the restaurant.

The hotel is in stunning grounds in a stunning location, if you are staying there be sure to visit Newlands corner, just down the road and absolutely stunning!

I was not aware there was no lift as it was a last minute booking after plans changed so was booked in a rush based on cost, unfortunately we were on the top floor which was 2 full flights of stairs. This was hard work and when we had the chance to access the leisure centre briefly I just couldn't face doing the stairs again. I hope to be back but I know next time so if anyone has any mobility limitations they should specify!

The room was big, the bathroom was clean, the breakfast was nice and the grounds, whilst needing some attention were nice.

The room smelled unpleasant and we were woken up before 7am by a car radio blaring underneath our window for 10 minutes before the man went into the gym.
