good position to reach Mackinac Island ferries and slightly lower price compared to nearby solutions. friendly reception and team. parking while visiting Mackinac Island.

our rooms were clearly looking for an urgent renovation. our bed was clearly broken. wifi inexistent and not working, router probably too far from the nearby hotel as Thunderbird, Starlight and Budget Inns are now all under the same organization.

filthy carpets in room, filthy unusable pools, dirty stainedtowels, rude staff. Had to beg for towels & toilet paper then got attitude from staff. When I required as to why pools were so filthy with algea & debris staff lied & said pools were just cleaned. When I asked for a phone number to speak to a manager the girl at the desk screamed at me,"I'm not writing anything down for you!" And flung the paper in my face. We requested a receipt & a refund but were refused. This place is a dirty nasty dump & we will never go there again. They ruined our whole vacation. Also overcharged us for ferry tickets.

The price, was unbeatable. Rooms clean and quiet.

Check in was quick and easy. They handed us coupons for dining a 2 gift certificates to the local arcade. Our room was clean, bathroom was clean and overall it felt safe and was quiet.

The staff was good, the bed need to be updated but good 😊

The bed was uncomfortable.

Check in was very confusing. We had to go to another location to check in. Parking was non existent and the location was dirty and trashy. Once in our room, it smelled awful. The bed was hard as a rock. When we arrived there was a group outside playing music loudly and being loud themselves. By 11pm this was still happening.

The room is small, but the bed was comfortable enough. It was quite clean for an older facility.

I do not recommend this property to anyone. Check in was a 45 minute process. I booked a king bed room tried to put me in a queen. Moved us to a property 2 hotels over. The pool was green. The bare minimum of attention is put to maintaining the property. It is rundown and unsafe. The condition of the pools should be reported to the county health department.
