Stratford Court Hotel

Had to get keys from hotel about 100 yards away because lobby was closed. Then got to our room to find that our keys did not work. Trip back to other hotel then rep had to walk over to our hotel and after another 15 mins finally got our keys. Next morning NO hot water! Called to complain and seek some compensation but yielded no reply call.

After chrcking in, i notice the remote wasnt working or program to the TV. So callrd front desk to let him know. It was late 11ish pm, just told him to fix tomorrow. That morning i reminded him aboit the issue with the remote. Got back late that evening .still NO TV. 2 nights without TV (missed Thr Masters) for a full paying sray. Again I address the issue at check. Nothing was done about it. Been staying here alot, with this its time to pick a new place to stay. I was very upset.

Tbe girl that checked us in.. Kayla. Really nice nicw person. One other person the front desk manager Daye was efficient and patient with us. The rest of the staff were either not trained well enough or just didnt care. Couldnt twll

Staff was very friendly and accommodating Property was clean, room was clean

The tub was very dirty. The first Front Desk attendant was short and wasn’t helpful and didn’t offer an early check in. He bluntly told us to come back at 3. When we came back at 3 there was a different front desk attendant who upgraded us to the El Rey Inn no extra charge.

The room was clean and spacious. The area was quiet and the staff were very friendly.

Booked the room at the Stratford. Arrived to find Stratford unoccupied and directed next door to El Rey Inn. No big deal. Just not expected. Property could use a remodel. Rooms were very dark. Staff was fantastic! Had an issue with the fridge and was dealt with very quickly. Breakfast is basic. Not many options for those with carb/gluten issues. Would stay again.

The college-aged workers don’t do the best job of housekeeping. Dusty furniture, unusable tub needs a $5 plug, no heat on in the room upon arrival (15 degrees F outside), and the kid wanted a tip for plugging in the TV!

I did not get to stay at the Stratford. I stayed at the El Ray. No communication as to why or that it would change prior to my stay. When I arrived a note on a closed hotel told me to go to the El Ray for a room. The first room they gave me, the heater had broke and the room was 90 degrees. The hot tub that I was looking forward to using after a long drive was winterized. Why would you winterize a hot tub in the winter? It's the best time for a hot tub. Breakfast was lack luster. Not impressed with the hotel.

This is usually our home base when visiting Cedar. Easy access and great downtown location. Rooms are clean, updated and have fridge and microwave. Pool is now garden area or court yard, but nice place to chill with firepit.
