Grand Hotel Europa Palace

Is highly recommend Europa palace. The location is perfectly situated between the main square (3 minute walk) and the coast. The view is exceptional. The property is beautiful. The rooms are simple but very clean…it could use a remodel but then the cost would be much higher. Do not let the age of the rooms detour you from Booking…..I would absolutely stay here again.

We did not stay at the hotel, just had an unforgettable dinner at their restaurant. We had a reservation at another place but accidentally we bumped into this hotel. The hostess, Marzia at the front door welcomed us and told us about their bar and restaurant. She took the time to show us around the terrace, even invited us to the Ferragosto celebration that took place on the 15th of August. Thanks to her positive attitude and kindness, it took only a minute for us to change our minds and cancel the other reservation. We did not regret it! We had a nice drink at the bar, where Andrea and Mario were also super friendly and then moved to the restaurant (which is also an outside area, like a little oasis) where we got the best table so we had an unrestricted view of the sunset. It was breathtaking. Our waiter Vincenzo and headwaiter Sergio took amazing care of us. They knew instantly what we are looking for. Recommended wine and dishes that were simply perfect! The 2 types of butter were home made and the bread was fresh from the oven, still hot and crunchy, also home made of course. The entire dinner was exceptional, the attention and care we experienced there is not comparable to any other places. At the end we were lucky to meet the Chef de Cuisine to express our sincere satisfaction. We can still feel the flavours when we think about this wonderful restaurant. Highly recommended place and the prices are perfect for the value we get.

Beautiful location with beach access. Rooms were extremely dirty and uncomfortable. There are other hotels you should consider.

Overall the venue is good. The decor is of its time and quite charming though a little tired and could do with an upgrade in some areas (mainly the bedrooms/bathrooms. Communal areas are great, food is decent, the terrace, pool and jetty to the sea are excellent and the service staff too particularly Valentino, Andrea and Luigi who took great care of us!
