Great Wolf Lodge Grand Mound

I thought I would write some more reviews of this place. We love this place, it is a great place to relax while have some fun. The kids are little older now and are able to go on all the rides but they still love the wave pool tremendously but all love going on the rides together too as much as possible. It is a work out climbing all those stairs but we all feel it is well worth it. We try and come here once or twice a year especially when it is cold or raining which here in Washington, seems to be quite a bit.

Annette in the MagiQuest shop was absolutely wonderful. After a long, hectic check-in process I was already pretty frazzled and overwhelmed, especially trying to get everything set up for my three teens. Annette was so kind, patient, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. We had a bit of a complicated situation with one new wand, two new toppers, plus two older wands and one older topper, and she took the time to get everything figured out without ever making us feel rushed or stressed. She truly went above and beyond. Her calm, friendly demeanor was honestly a balm for my frazzled nerves and helped me reset and start relaxing and enjoying our stay again. Customer service like hers makes such a difference. Thank you, Annette!

Very family friendly with lots of activities. Indoor water park with slides and wave pool. Rooms are neat and tidy and clean. The lifts can be slow, but the stairs are easy access. There are also some cafes and eateries onsite.

Caeden one of the chefs from the kitchen has been providing exemplary service for our whole stay! Im allergic to tomatoes and tomatoe products; which makes eating at an Italian buffet very limited. Each night, he made me alternative food so that I can other options. My favorite was the meatballs! He took the time to make my food and he always had an authenticly positive helpful attitude! Caeden made my stay awesome because I got to eat amazing meals with my family on our vacation! Thank you so much Caeden!

Michelle was kind and considerate. Our family received some difficult news today, and her empathy and understanding were very welcomed and appreciated. Emma was kind and enthusiastic when my daughter a I made build-a-bears with secret messages for each other. She helped make this an extra-special and memorable experience.

We recently visited Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound and overall had a really enjoyable stay. The newly remodeled rooms are a huge improvement—honestly, it was needed, and they did a great job. Everything felt fresh, clean, and comfortable, and the beds were surprisingly cozy. We had zero issues with cleanliness, and every staff member we interacted with was kind, accommodating, and genuinely focused on making the experience special for the kids. The kiddie area in the water park also got a remodel, but we found it a bit lacking for the little ones. They removed one of the slides/play structures, so now the purple slide is the only main feature. Our kids still had fun, but the space feels more like a splash pad than a true play zone. Just something to be aware of if you have toddlers or young kids who loved the previous setup. The rest of the water park remains the same, so if you’ve visited before, you’ll recognize most of it. Outside the water park, there’s plenty to do. MagiQuest was updated a couple of years ago and is still a hit, though we’re hoping they add new quests soon since my kids have finished the current one twice already. There’s also an arcade, mining, Build-A-Bear, and several spots to grab food (the pizza at Great Wolf is still one of our favorites). They did remove the mini golf, which was a bit of a bummer. All in all, Grand Mound continues to be a fun family getaway with great staff, comfy rooms, and a mix of activities!

The photos completely fooled us. We paid nearly $700 for two nights expecting a beautiful family lodge — instead we walked into an old, outdated room with broken beds and no bedding for the sofa bed. I couldn’t even sleep the first night. Front desk apologized and promised to “fix everything,” but the room wasn’t cleaned, nothing was repaired, and even the $50 credit they offered was never applied. On top of that, they charge for parking in the middle of nowhere — total money grab. We left disappointed, exhausted, and feeling scammed. I will not return and definitely do NOT recommend.

We brought all four kids! And it was such a great family trip. We only stayed one night and I recommend two! There’s just so much to do and the activities keep the kids so busy! I loved the big room with the bunk beds and a connected room for us parents making getting our youngest to sleep super easy. Lifeguards were attentive. Pool and room were clean Food was great And staff was available for questions!
