Cherish Hue Hotel

Great breakfast .

The room was totally fine and the breakfast was much better than expected. Everyone was friendly.

Nothing because hotel is infested with cockroaches

Hotel looked nice enough inside and check in was very good and in a friendly manner, but as soon as we checked in late in the evening, cockroaches appeared from the ceiling and crawled on the walls, and my bedside table. We managed to catch a few into the glass and called the receptionist on duty to show him the evidence. He moved us to another room and in 5 minutes more cockroaches appeared, also caught one crawling on my suitcase and on the tea saucer. In total were 5 of them in another room, disgusting! It was coming up to midnight and we understood that there is no point to move to yet another room as it is obvious that whole hotel is infected. The receptionist called the manager as per our request as he was not on duty but at home, and after long conversation he finally agree to move us, but Cherish Hotel is 4 star and we were moved to a very old and not 4 star but kind of 3 star hotel, even though officially they are 4 star, but at least we did not see any cockroaches there. Basically if you don't want to bring cockroaches to your home country in your clothes and luggage, DO NOT stay at Cherish Hotel, cockroaches will be in the kitchen and everywhere because once they are in the rooms, there are everywhere and it is well known fact. We have been moved at 1 am and instead of resting and sleeping we have been catching cockroaches and calling staff and managers, and packing and unpacking twice and moving to the new building in the worse area. I had the impression the manager new about hotel being infested, but obviously they keep selling the hotel on Bookings.com

Close to good restaurant scene and river walk and boat tours. Nice very friendly staff, particularly John and Annie on front desk, and Thueh, the concierge. Rooms clean, fresh and comfortable. Pool and gym a bonus.

The location was great and I really enjoyed the breakfast. The room was clean and tidy and the staff and management were very accommodating. The weather was nice so I extended my stay by three day, one day at a time and the hotel was very good about it.

The pool was a bit lame. The balcony for my room was small and had no furniture. Good thing I travel with my own chair.

Amazing staff! So friendly and welcoming! Worked hard to ensure you had the information needed to enjoy your time in Hue, were kind to keep our luggage after we had checked out so we could go explore some more. Waiters in restaurant, reception and bell hops all provided excellent customer service!

Pool and gym are in poor repair and need a refresh. Tub in room also needing refurbishing. Thought it was dirty, but was the finish coming off.
