Baymont by Wyndham Dallas South-DeSoto

Baymont by Wyndham was my definitely home away from. It was extremely clean everywhere I looked and the smell of the property was fresh and clean smelling all day long. So quiet. Everyone was so respectful.

Requested handicap accessibility. Hot tub didn’t work. Staff said repair man was coming that day and he never came not even the next day. Rude staff

Stay was ok but I can hear through my walls and the elevator stopped working after day 1

It’s an old La Quinta hotel that has a sweat and musk smell to it. The elevator did not work the 3 days I was there. The pool area had damaged furniture and the tile on the walls were had cracks in them. Paint coming off the walls. My room had damaged furniture as well and loose tiles in the entryway. I will never stay here again. The staff was good but Baymont needs to spend some money to get it up to date asap.

The bed was comfy.

I was originally told they could accommodate a bleach allergy. The day before we were to arrive they called and said it was not a possibility and insisted we cancel the reservation instead of asking how they could accommodate it. Due to the late notice we had no other choice but to keep the reservation. This is the first hotel I've ever been told they could not do so. When we arrived we were told the 1 elevator in the sold out hotel was not working. We had to climb 4 flights of stairs after being in the car for over 8 hours. The elevator did not work the entire stay and no suggestion for accommodations. The breakfast was not replenished fast enough to deal with the rush and smelled burnt. The dining area was not cleaned or kept up so we ended up leaving to get food at another place. Lastly, the toilet paper was 1 ply.

This is the most horrible place I've ever stayed at. Here's a list of issues I encountered: 1. Elevator went out 2. Waffle maker was out of order 3. Bedding sheets had a faded blood stain. 4. Was given a room, and enterd it while it was occupied by other people.

I would not recommend this property to anyone.
