"Good"

The staff was horrible. The evening desk person was rude and did not help at all. The air conditioning in two of the rooms did not work and she gave us the run around, they were never fixed. Some of The VIP benefits were not honored. We were supposed to get a bottle of wine and although i requested them, we never received them.

The staff was cheerful and helpful, whether it was getting us extra towels or ordering us a taxi. The food at the restaurant was amazing! The main attraction is the view, morning, afternoon or night you see the city for all it’s colorful beauty that it is known for! The view makes it difficult to leave the hotel!

We had a great stay at Hotel Mision Grand Casa Colorada. The hotel is conveniently close to Pipila’s monument, where you can grab the Funicular”. In less than 10 minutes we were at the doors of Teatro Juarez. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly fantastic. Starting by Lore, at the reception, who was always very kind with all our needs. The waiter Rafael was also exceptional. The room had a soectacular view to Guanajuato’s city centre. We could see the most iconic landmarks from our window. Congrats! If you need a good hotel, with onsite parking, close to city centre and with spectacular service, look no more; this hotel is one of the best.

The room didn't have AC and it was so hot, we opened the window and the noise from the city center was really bad. They brought us a fan but it didn't help that much. Our suite was dated, the carpet was stained. I had to use socks to walk on it. The bathroom was old and not suitable for people with knee problems, you have to climb a couple of steps to get in to the shower. I am sure this was a beautiful house way back then. You pay for the view which was incredible and the staff was really nice. The food is good.
