I have mixed feelings about this place. The staff was very accommodating and bent over backwardsto ensure your stay was comfortable. Big shoutoutto Alicia. The views are stunning from the rooms and restaurant. There are many aspects of the hotel that are quite charming such as the construction with its large wood beams, tile and wood floors, custom hand carved wood doors and cabinetry. However, the hotel is very dated and the rooms, especially the bathrooms could use updating and a lot of TLC. Especially the bathrooms. I'm sure that back in the day the hotel was a jewel however, it has been let go and the room standards of maintenance and upkeep have had little attention. I was disappointed to hear the hotel is part of a chain of Misión hotels. It's obvious that the company CEO has not stayed in this diamond in the rough.. We would love to return however not until changes are made.

The Hotel is located at the top of the town, so you have a spectacular view, But our rooms carpet was super dirty as well as the bathroom. This hotel has so much potential, but needs a lot of Tender Love and Care.

Loved our stay here. Great licatoon, amazing food. The staff and service qas completely accomdating and helpful. Cannot wait to return here again!

No hot water , we asked for light bulb change didn't change we showered in the dark, glass dirty i will never recomend anyone to stay

I don’t usually write reviews but I left like I really needed to for this stay. Let me start off by saying this needs to be removed from Expedia VIP Access. I chose this hotel because it had a VIP Access so I thought it was a great pick. Check in was at 3 or 4 can’t remember, we arrived earlier, asked if the room was ready said yes and we were happy they let us check in earlier. The staff was really nice. Got to our room fell in love at first sight, it was cute, the view was nice. Little by little we started to notice things. The sheets and comforter were stained/dirty. The bathroom did not flush very well. When taking a shower the water wouldn’t drain, when I went to the lobby and talk to the front desk they told me to use the next room’s bathroom. As if they knew about the issue and just refused to fix it. I had booked the presidential suite, when I walked down the hallway I saw another room say presidential suite. When I ask front desk about it they advised me that didn’t have it available (they downgraded me without telling me). When I asked for a refund on the difference I paid they said no it’s based on availability. At night it gets a windy. Since there’s doors to the balcony, they were banging all night and could hardly sleep. The curtains were not big enough for the windows and had holes, when morning came the beaming sunlight shined threw. The refrigerator did not work. Housekeeping cleaned the room despite the do not disturb sign.

Stunning location. Hard to find by car, but if you keep trying your GPS will lead you there. Views are spectacular, food and service were very good. I think we were the only guests both nights, and there are only six guest rooms. The large garden is beautiful but getting a bit run down.
