Hotel Downtown

Very nice hotel, in the city center, with an friendly staff.

Everything was wonderful. Staff was very helpful and friendly Breakfast was good, especially for the price.

Pros. Pleasent staff. Great options for breakfast. Excellent location and five minutes walk from the city centre. The rooms are spacious and the isolation is great - you can't hear the noise from the outside. Cons. The hairdryer in the bathroom is really weak. If you have long or thick hair it's gonna take awhile. The linens and the mattress cover are not made from a nice material. We would all wake up sweaty on the side on which we slept on. All in all, a really pleasant stay.

Small and simple hotel, very small rooms. Towels are not changed until requested, and there is no shampoo or shower gel! We were in a large room with an open window and they moved us to a smaller room where there were cockroaches!!! There were literally insects on the ceiling and the floor!! It was so disgusting that we didn't sleep at night and when we came to complain they said that nothing could be done and maybe they entered through the window we opened even though in the previous room nothing entered through the window!!! Insolence and disgust!!! Do not go to this hotel!! Unnice people and terrible service!!!!!!!!

I was very disappointed overall with this hotel. Pros: good location - you are about 15 min from the palace metro and sofia is small you can walk most places, clean, some fresh fruit at breakfast, the breakfast staff were very nice Cons: the spa/sauna was not open breakfast was just ok no hotel staff late at night other than a guy who says he is only 'security' there was a fridge in the room but no minibar as the website states The pictures on the website are seriously misleading, the hotel is old and needs updating Some Front desk staff were not very friendly Overpriced - about 115 euros per night it is not worth this Definitely NOT 4 star! It is super loud if your room faces the street. The street is not so busy so I think the windows are not as sound proof as they mention on the website

The location was good for me, the room was quite large, and they were kind during the check in procedure, but the good things stop here. Very old forniture, the restroom is quite sad, noisy AC without temperature setting, WiFi unstable and very slow. They did not replace the toilet set and the towels after the first night. The breackfast is just minimal and not aligned with a european 4 stars standard. For sure in Sofia it is possible to find something better.

The room was comfortable, clean and had all I needed. The only observation I have is that there were no tea/coffee making facilities, which would have been very welcome as I had to work from the room on evening ls.

This charming, cosy and upmarket hotel with its excellent location is still one of my first choices when I go to Sofia. In fact, it's my favourite for "romantic" weekends in Sofia. Despite the pandemic, the staff is welcoming and professional. The rooms are cosy in an elegant way and clean and I get anywhere I want in no time. They had to give up their private parking (which used to be a privilege in that area) due to the substantial drop in business from Covid, but there is a paid parking very close. Also due to Covid and the limited business from that, they are currently not hosting their fabulous breakfast buffet. Breakfast is "per order" now but they try to make you happy and fulfil all your wishes. As I was alone this time, my waistline was quite pleased with that. And with current "covid-prices" for the room they offer the best price-quality-relation in Sofia at the moment. For me: 10 out of 10...

On the way home, this hotel was offered by a friend. Under the crucial circumstances this Hotel made a great impression to me. Very professional Service and a warm Welcome. I did not know this Hotel from former visits in Sofia, but it is a very cosy, well loccated and not to big Cityhotel in DownTown - the name is Reality. The Rooms are fine and equiped with the items you need, including the space for luggage etc. Since the Restaurant was closed (Corona Virus), the Rooms Service was top and the Breakfast included - well served. To leave for the Airport, the Receptionist (Stanilav), organized a taxy and arranged a fair ride. When in Sofia once privately, its an preferred Option for me.
