Hotel Downtown

If you got lucky with the larger double occupancy rooms then you will enjoy your stay as they’re more like smaller suites than a typical room. Breakfast buffet is small but has excellent diversity and quality of items. Location is ok but a good 25-30 min walk to downtown main streets. If you take a cab from downtown to the hotel, make sure it’s about 10-13 leva as cab drivers will crank up the meter to overcharge you. The hotel staff was mostly good (especially breakfast staff - they were amazing) but front office staff need a bit more training in smiling.

Very nice and cosy city hotel that has everything you ask for. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast options were more than enough. A gym for those who like to work out (we didn't use it). Taxi from airport cost around 10-13 leva. Bar price for coffee and drinks were very reasonable. Waiters at bar and restaurant were very nice and friendly. The reception staff was very helpful. They provided us with a map and gave us information on best options on our needs. Also adaptors available at the front desk if you are traveling from Cyprus or Uk. Special mention to the receptionist who was working on our last night for all her effort to find us a bar near by for our last hours in Sofia, she was on training and I believe she deserves to know she is doing a great job so far :). Really good location, friendly staff and awesome food! Noisy as there was building works in the hotel :(

Stayed for business in the centre of Sofia. The location was ideal just 10 minute walk to all of the local nightlife. Gym in hotel that apparently only I knew about, for my one week stay I am sure nobody else used this. I would stay again. thanks

We've upgraded the room to a standard suite upon order as it cost about 50 more euros for the entire vacation. The upgrade was very useful as we got a large room on the 5th floor watching the main street - if you can effort it, go for it. We were off season so the hotel was almost empty and the staff was always looking to help and assist (taxi, places to go, good restaurants, good massage etc.). The place really needs renovation as everything looks and feel very old. Don't expect too much from breakfast although we found it really ok for us to get the day started.

The hotel and room are old, and Wifi signal is bad in the room...

Always a friendly reception from staff whom seem like old friends. Very clean. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. A very good choice of breakfast. Always helpful when enquiring about arranging excursions. A pleasure to of stayed here.

Great location - close to the heart of the city, walking distance, safe area. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very spacious. Stayed there with family and a 10 year old and enjoyed walking down to the NDK park and Vitosha pedestrian mall.

Very satisfied with the hotel and my stay. Friendly staff, nice location, and great country. The wifi was kind of unstable in the last days but it happens.
