Americas Best Value Inn Gettysburg

The rooms are in need of renovations, not the cleanest and a bit stinky. The office smells so bad. I tried to ask about pets/cats in the hotel, because I have an allergy. He couldn’t understand the question due to a language barrier and kept asking if I had a cat with me. Will not stay here again.

The room was dirty. At first they gave a different room than what the reservation was for.

Cleanliness lacking in meeting expectation. Specifically bathroom stool not clean, shower curtain needed changing, shower head clogged, and towels were almost thread bare.

2 Rooms we were in looked clean but still have residual odor of smokers, animals, or just age—not sure. Breakfast is very limited. Owner is pleasant and accommodating, but somewhat difficult to understand due to accent.

Very friendly family run business. Rooms were clean but not fancy. Great value if you are just looking for a decent place to stay
