Econo Lodge Eutaw I-20

This was the nastiest place that I have ever stayed at. The staff was nice but the accommodations were horrible. The chair in the room was nasty I wouldn't sit on it. The carpet was dirty, I wouldn't walk on it barefoot. The shower was full of mildew. The shower head only pulsated. The bed had springs coming through the mattress. It was a horrible experience. The owner or manager must not care about their patrons. Would never stay there again.

Smelly

The property was reasonably affordable and clean. My only complaint was a lack of dinner options in the area, which is not their responsibility

Excellent Hotel Checkin was excellent employee was very friendly and attentive with all aspects of our trip

There are no restaurants near by. Only a subway that is in the gas station across the street. Place was ok. Rooms were clean. Was on the second floor and had a wall out my window. Check in staff not friendly at all. Said credit card and room number. that was about it. Place was quiet but there were not any one staying there. You $55 you get $55.

The hotel was old but it would’ve been so bad if it was clean I had the Roma marijuana

I walked in my door and killed 2 cockroaches. They also did not have the room I paid for but a different room.

It was absolutely HORRIBLE!! The doors do not go all the way to the floor so i felt unsafe. We had so many roaches in our room it was like we were doing the stomp! Then when we needed to shower and wanted the dead roaches cleaned out the shower, housekeeping didn't want to clean it. I'll never stay here again

Their night staff was great. The morning shift however, very rude

If I could give them negative stars I would. We are frequent travelers and This type of hotel is not our first choice, however, it was the closest to the family members we were visiting. Our room was infested with ladybugs from the bathroom to the ceiling to the window seal. Our toilet ran nonstop and we could hear everything the people next to us were doing. If they walked it sound like a loose board was moving in our room. We heard their every move everytime they made motion. We booked a non smoking room but you could still smell smoke. When asked to be placed in another room the hotel was no help. At check in no information about hotel or stay was given and they weren’t friendly at all. We saw on the wall breakfast was 6-9 (since we weren’t given any information about it) we went down at 8 and no breakfast was out. We went to the front desk to ask about it and was greeted with a yell from the back. When we asked about breakfast 5 mins late a lady came from the back where she was clearly sleeping at at the time. She put some bread and peanut butter out for us and said that was all they had. There was already 2 jugs one of milk that expired the next day and orange juice as well as a self dispenser of cereal. At checkout I asked for a receipt that showed I had a $0 balance and she said I couldn’t get one. When I continued to ask why she insisted it was because I paid through a third party. When I told her I worked at a hotel and knew she could print one for me she then finally printed it. When I asked her why she couldn’t do that the first time she looked down at my hand where my phone was and hit my hand with a towel and said stop it. Then she said she was calling the police when I asked why she said because I was recording her which I wasn’t so I said call the police so I can tell them you hit me with a towel then she told us to leave. I’ve never had poor service like this. For the same price you can drive 15 more mins to Tuscaloosa and get a nicer hotel for the same price. I called my 3rd party to get a partial refund and the hotel refused
