Hotel Shanghai Sheshan Oriental - Handwritten Collection

This was a fantastic hotel for our family. It would be even better in the summer, because of the unique outdoor pool, but it was also a nice oasis away from the city during the winter time. Our family enjoyed the indoor pool, and the room was very comfortable and well furnished. The staff was ready to give advice about things to do in the local area. Even though there are no restaurants or shops in the area directly around the hotel, the hotel has many things to do and enough good food options if you don't want to go out.

This hotel isn't up to Sofitel standards by look or the Sofitel culture. You will find it very difficult to communicate if you don't speak any of the Chinese languages.

Good - arranged a swimming pool site room...but it’s cold season Bad - uncomfortable smell all over when staying in the room

i still smell smoke in non smoking room so I asked to change the room. The second room is better but there are several stains on the carpet. I checked in anyway because it was late in the night. The service was good because when I mentioned this issue to a nice lady she arranged to change the room immediately. The hotel is big and not many people there. I really appreciate the pool which I can have my own lane when I swim. The room services guy was patient to me too. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others.

Была второй раз в этом отеле. И вернусь ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО еще не раз. Живу в Шанхае и такая альтернатива отдыха очень подходит мне, как жителю мегаполиса. Во-первых, доступность - всего час на метро и от метро пешком минут 15 либо такси. Во-вторых, прекрасные бассейны по всей территории и пляж с песком! Номера тоже порадовали комфортом и размерами (очень большие и все с балконами). Советую всем.
