Hampton Inn Harrison

We stayed here in June 2025 and this was the worst hotel experience we had in years. We were told the pool was closed and they notified hotels.com and it was their responsibility to notify us. We were told our room was newly renovated and the floor we were on was under construction. What they failed to tell us was that the construction was in front of our room and the workers had to move things for us to get in. The smell of either paint or wallpaper paste was overwhelming. We had to buy plug ins to stand the smell. The noice was constant until the workers left at 7pm. When I requested another room as I was concerned the smell would trigger my family's migraines I was told the hotel was fully booked due to a Fed-Ex.conference and their rooms could not be split. Guess my money is not as good as Fed-Ex's. I washed for a partial refund and was denied. The puts at the front desk was absolutely worthless and needs some hospitality and customer service training. I will never stay at another Hampton Inn again. I would welcome a call from a manager to discuss further.

Spacious room and good breakfast. Always available coffee

Extremely expense, the swimming pool was closed, could easily hear all activity in the hallways. The hallway noise was so irritating I got out of bed and bought a fan at Wal-mart to drown it out.

That the room was updated

The beds was so hard I couldn't sleep. Pillows flat as can be. You could hear your neighbors. The pool wasn't working

Only bad thing is the pool was closed for renovations and we were not informed of that before booking.

Very nice overnight stay

The vacuum had not picked up long hair or tags from new purchases in my room. very large room , nice shower, comfortable, well made up beds very nice breakfast with attentive friendly attendant

I'm here tonight. Ended up here on a business through northern Arkansas. There are two decent hotels in Harrison. Hampton and Holiday Inn Express. They're next door to each other and owned by the same people. I really don't get why they are both $190.00 per night for a basic room. It was either stop here or drive another 2 hrs to Bentonville and hope for the best. Upon checking in, I was informed that the pool and hot tub were both out of order. Since I have a bad back, I like to get in the hot tub after driving all day. I asked for a break on the rate, since it was unavailable. No break on the price. Also, ice machine was out of order on the 3rd floor. When I mentioned this at the front desk, I was told to just go to the 2nd floor. I stay in hotels over 100 nights per year. None of these issues are that big a deal, except for the price of the room, and the unwillingness to reduce the price. I would advise planning your trip so you don't end up here with overpriced, limited options.
