The room had a funny smell to it.

Nice place ,but I forgot my Amazon tablet in the room called to see if housekeeping found it they said no but it was there si that ruined my stay at laquinta

Dishonesty

*READ REVIEWS, I SHOULD HAVE! The bed covers and sheets were dirty/stained. We had to wash one set of sheets. They would not let us have extra towels. Night host was rude to my great-niece about it. Pool had no chairs to sit in(as shown in pictures). The cold water in bathroom kept running hot. Smoke detector was on the microwave, not attached to power source. The toilet paper was on top of the holder. No treadmill(as shown in pics). Loud music coming from somewhere most of the night. *Whoever answers these reviews will give a standard reply, but obviously no changes will be made!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We Couldn't stay. Had to go to another hotel as the a/c in the room had soaked the floor in less than 4 hours. apparently the drain was plugged up and maint. was never done Had to be an existing problem that was never fixed. And they had no other rooms

The hotel was easy to find.

The smell in the room was overpowering. They had so much deodorizer in there it lingered in my sinuses and in my mouth. It smelled very floral like. I told the on-duty desperation that we were not be able to stay in the room and then I wanted a refund. I had literally made the reservation 10 minutes before arriving at the hotel looked at the room told him we couldn't stay there because the smell. He said they could not give me a refund but I could speak to the manager and they might consider it. I've never heard anything from the hotel or management there.

The cleaning staff was friendly

There is no working Ice Machine in the entire hotel!! You have to take your ice bucket to the lobby and they have bags of Ice in a deep freezer!!

We stopped here on our way to Florida as our half way point. We had 3 rooms, one room on each floor. Me & my family stayed on the 2nd floor, there was an awful smell in the hallway. The bathroom in our room was not clean, there was hair in the bathroom, on the sink counter, the soap bottles were not filled not to mention one of the TVs didn’t even work. There were 2 AC units, for each room in our room, the master area AC unit had no coolant so we were left using one unit. Another family stayed on the first floor, no complaints with their room. Another family stayed on the 3rd floor with no complaints, large & very spacious just a few ants were found in the room. While we were at breakfast, which is more like a take & go setup, there was a HUGE cockroach just crawling on the wall. Usually where there is one there’s more. We packed up & checked out after seeing that.

Rooms where dirty,bathroom was the worst,they didn't have sheet to change the bed.The ac didn't work properly because the thermostat was broken,the floors stayed wet from people leaving the pool going to their rooms,no wet floor signs, even in the elevator.

Lobby furniture worn, breakfast not suitable, entire hotel had a rancid smell, commode had a ring in it and the commode height was the size you see in kindergarten for small children and the ironing board cover needed replacing.
