Hilton Columbus/Polaris

Staff was supportive but not very helpful. They were busy so giving them slack. The food we had at the bar was very good.

The room we booked early had an exercise bike and equipment right next to the bed. I asked to change rooms and was told they had overbooked and nothing was available in the booking price. No other option was offered. The bar had lights that glared directly over us which couldn't be dimmed as the dimmer was broken. The draft dispenser was also broken so we had to have either canned or bottled beer. There were many organizations involving kids staying and they were running around the halls yelling and screaming which we asked 3 times for them to go to their rooms. We put up with it until 10pm then left our room and asked for a refund. This was supposed to be an anniversary stay at the Hilton, not Holiday Inn express.

I could hear our neighbors whole conversation through the shower drain while getting ready in the morning. There was no vent in the bathroom. The shower sounded like an airplane lifting off. Not kid friendly as there were NO kids channels on the TV for free. The price was expensive.

Location was perfect

Unfortunately there was a family next to us that had a little too much fun that evening which led to someone getting sick all night which we could hear through the thin walls. Needless to say, we didn’t get much sleep.
