Marriott's Frenchman's Cove

Though I am staying at the Buoy Haus next door, I was able to get help and advice from the amazing Ta’lore (pronounced Taylor, I kept messing it up) and Lubon (sp?). First Lubon gave me a referral to Brewer’s Bay where I brought my own snorkel gear and was able to see sting ray and sea turtles in their natural habitats. Next, manager Andrew was kind enough to bring my ring float over to Ta’lore at the Marriott to get it inflated for me. Thanks again, Andrew and Ta’Lore. You all saved the day!!

Just returned home from a wonder vacation in St. Thomas. This was our first time visiting “The cove”. The hotel is wonderful with beautiful views. Staff was always friendly. The pool had just reopened after being refurbished and is perfect. Loved that the majority of the property was smoke free ( a few random smoking areas). Has a small beach, but perfect for the location. Hotel restaurant was good, but nothing special. As to be expected, their Marketplace was expensive. My only real complaint had nothing to do with the hotel itself, just the location. Unless you take the shuttle to a different hotel there is nothing close by. If you didn’t rent a car you have to take an expensive taxi ride to get to other shops, restaurants and such.

We have reservations October 4th...will the pool be open by then? This is kind of a game changer as far as staying at the cove. If someone can please reply from the resort to let us know this would be extremely helpful. In addition, if the pool is not open, are one of the other Marriott pools available for use?

Everything was nice

We typically stay at St John but after this stay we will definitely consider staying at St Thomas in the future. Amazing property!

Amazing experience, wonderful facilities. Beautiful views. Spectacular staff. A true paradise in the islands.

Despite some very nice employees like concierge KC and others this Marriott is an ok but not great property itself 3 elevators to get to the beach bellhops working very hard but too few so you either had to wait or just lug your own bags very far in the heat I wouldn’t hesitate to book here if it makes sense in your plans but don’t expect too much
