Hyatt Place Jackson Ridgeland

This hotel need to be remodel this not a 5 star hotel base on the name Hyatt so step up your game Hyatt in Jackson Ms... The bathroom, pool and breakfast was very bad for the Hyatt hotel...

The location was great and provided great access for what I needed to accomplish in surrounding cities.

The latch on the door was broken. The shade on the window was broken...so we had light coming through the window from the light pole in the parking lot. Also meant earlier mornings than wanted. Additionally, we asked for additional towels and sheets when booking but the items were not provided. There was also no soap by the sink. So we had to use the soap in the shower. And, the air conditioner was wonky. Staff was difficult to locate upon checking in and checking out. Was disappointed with the room in general and because my previous experiences with Hyatt have been great ones..

Check in was 2.5 hours late. Manager did offer a discount but because I booked through Expedia I would have have to go through them to get my discount so Expedia give me a call 601-two one 4 -7586

Location was great

Main reason for going was the indoor pool. I sent hotel 2 messages about the pool. Was it working? A generic reply about amenities followed. Pool was cold,not cool, cold. No towels at the pool and still none after a call to the desk and a wet trip to the desk. The water was cloudy as was a previous visit. Disappointing would be my description.

the staff were very nice

cockroachs and bugs throughout the whole hotel. the pool was not clean .

Whole property was dirty and unkept.

Probably the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. There were no towels at the pool which we couldn’t even swim in because it was so cold. The room was hot and not cleaned very well. Breakfast options were minimal. Will not be staying again.
