Good staying

we stayed here one night. we paid for an upper floor. at check-in, desk clerk put us on the second floor, I said no, we paid for an upper floor. His reply, well, hot air rises so it's hotter on the upper floors. Say what? Each room has its own AC, it shouldn't matter. We took the second floor room. Got to our room, the AC said it was 61 degrees, felt more like 81 degrees. Went downstairs to change rooms. We were moved to the fifth floor by the very nice front desk young lady. The room was nice enough; showed signs of much needed maintenance: the bathroom door was sticking on the bottom, had to manhandle it to get it to close or open; one of the mirrored closet doors was missing; the luggage stand was broken; no coffee cups in the rooms; wallpaper in bathroom was needing replaced. We were on the west side of the building so we did not hear the freeway noise and the room was quiet, we did not hear anyone above us. Also, It would be nice to advise guests at check-in that ice machines are only on the even-numbered floors. The staff in the kitchen area need to be reminded that they are in the hospitality industry. A smile goes a long way. If you don't want to be there, get a different job.

Loved the breakfast but there was no microwave

Staff was so incompetent. Food took forever and they openly admitted not knowing how to make most things

Check in horrible but everything else great

Nice location.

I had to wait 30 minutes before my room was ready. The sheets were dirty, and I had not been provided hand towels. Very few outlets for electronics. No curtains to help with the light from the sun nor the streetlights. I could not keep the room dark at night.
