Beautiful building super comfortable bed, large room

Shower turned itself on in the early hours of the morning? Had been running before we arrived so floor was wet in bathroom, room did smell damp from this.

Another excellent few days ate hotel . Always a warm welcome and excellntntbold world charm . Bar and food good quy with excellent cooked breakft over looking the sea . Quite village location jutvoutside Cromer

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly. The hotel was in a perfect location for our very short stay.

We stayed for one night over Easter and had a nice stay. The hotel has a lot of history with the rooms being clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel that night and we both chose the vegetarian options, the food was very tasty and the staff attentive. Breakfast was a choice of cooked and buffet and was very good as well. In the morning we walked the coastal path to Cromer that is not far away. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Nothing to note

The room was lovely.

Breakfast was totally over priced. The food took ages to come(40 mins from ordering) and the portions were ridiculously small. They ran out of pastries which wasn’t ideal as one of us only wanted a continental. We also stayed for a Sunday roast. One waiter was excellent but the others were inexperienced and needed some training. Sauces took ages to come so we had to chase them and drink orders were missed so had to be taken off the bill. It was just disappointing.

Lovely hotel, really comfortable bed and pillows, excellent food and incredibly helpful people doing everything they can to look after you. That’s without even mentioning the amazing sea front location and stunning views. Absolutely recommend and look forward to coming back.
