The staff at the hotel very friendly and so helpful, the room was so cosy and comfortable. Dinner was delicious in the evening and our breakfast was too.

We cannot fault our stay we was very satisfied.

My wife spotted an offer from The Dales for a weekend package including the "Thurs ford Christmas Spectacular" show with two nights dinner, bed and breakfast. We've been talking about going to the Thursford show for several years but never "got around to it" as they say. As we knew the Dales from an afternoon tea a few years ago we decided to book the package and it was in every way as good as we expected and more. A genuinely friendly welcome to the hotel sets the standard at this super country house hotel. The house really does live up to everything you could expect of an Edwardian country home and the owners have got the decor and furnishings nicely suited to the architecture of the building. Our room was very well appointed, very clean, very comfortable and warm. Dinner in the restaurant was a revalation, from our previous afternoon tea experience, we knew the food would be good, but dinner in this restaurant is on a whole other level. We have travelled quite extensively since retiring and experienced food and service in several high end hotels and restaurants and this restaurant is certainly up there with those illustrious places. As I said, this package included tickets for the Thursford show which was perfectly arranged, with an early dinner (again excellent food and service), then a coach transferred us to the show and afterwards returned us to the hotel for a very welcoming glass of mulled wine and mince pies, very festive. Excellent breakfast after another comfortable night's sleep before checkout. This is a super friendly, comfortable "actual country house" hotel with excellent food and amenities, obviously thanks to the owners, management and all the staff. It's location makes it an ideal base for anyone visiting North Norfolk either for business or just the sheer pleasure of it. We certainly will be visiting again.

Booked an afternoon tea and from start to finish was a five star trip, plenty of parking very dog friendly and the staff were outstanding very attentive , made to feel very special, even our dog was given treats which he appreciated. Thank you everyone

Absolutely brilliant meal, the staff were kind, friendly and meticulous with every course. The food is delicious and worth every penny. This is now my second Christmas meal here and I attended last Easter too, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We booked afternoon tea at the Dales with our dog and have to say what a wonderful experience. We had a table in the library which felt like our own private dining. Plenty of tea and coffee, variety of sandwiches, scones and sweet treats. Staff very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.
