Dales Country House Hotel

A small hotel with genuine character in a stunningly peaceful location within walking distance of Sheringham Park and Sheringham itself. The ambiance of the place sells it - one of the best long-weekends I’ve ever experienced.

The layout of the room was a little odd, but they were working with unconventional spaces.

Excellent stay with dinner and breakfast, took our dog for his first hotel trip and he was made very welcome. Dinner in a gazebo looking at a Deer grazing and a beautiful view. Lovely food, excellent service and such friendly staff. Thank you

Having decided to visit Norfolk for the Bank Holiday weekend we chose to stay at The Dales. On arriving we were given a really nice welcome by Jo on reception who told us where everything was and we sorted our dinner reservations. Our room was amazing, great views and a lovely en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room with fresh milk should you require it. The staff were all so friendly and helpful a real credit to the hotel. The gardens were beautiful acres of grounds to walk around and right on the edge of Sheringham Park National Trust. The restaurant was beautiful, individual tables with relaxing lighting and a great choice on the menu. We stayed bed breakfast and evening meal and there was even a contribution to the food on the other menu should you want it. Breakfast cooked to order from many choices was served well and plentiful. In fact there really wasn’t anything to complain about. We had a wonderful stay, a real treat and very relaxing. Well worth five stars, if I could have given more I would have. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Norfolk.

Friendly, welcoming staff ,very informative and ready to help. Room clean and comfortable and very stylish. Breakfast was good with plenty of items to choose from. Lovely country house hotel with beautiful garden. New member of staff ( waitress) very polite and it was only her first day .

Dinner was a bit disappointing . The main course was highly priced but not worth the it. My partner had braised lamb which was fatty and only one small slice was on the plate. I had the pan fried sea bass which ,again, was a mean portion. However, the desert was delicious and being a pudding helped to satisfy our appetite.
