Dales Country House Hotel

Location, staff , food , cleanliness and very relaxing place .

The bathroom needed places to put your things when using , also hooks on back of bathroom door to hang bathrobe etc… .

After a walk in Sheringham Park we decided to have lunch in beautiful gardens of The Dales Hotel. We just wanted a ciabatta from the bar menu. My wife chose salmon and I chose chicken and bacon. Very disappointing. The bread was slightly stale, the salmon tasteless, the bacon had been prepared some time earlier and was rubbery and the accompanying salad was old and limp. For £32 I expect better.

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights over Easter. Not our first stay but pleased to report the experience gets better with time. The whole staff were friendly , polite and smart , just as we expected. We were particularly impressed with Jo on reception and Sian in the dining room. I feel a little guilty picking them out as all of the staff we encountered were brilliant and superbly repesented the hotel.The meals , we stayed on a bed ,breakfast and dinner basis, were absolutely well prepared and delicious. The room was spotlessly clean , spacious with a huge double bed. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.We will return ---Again !

My wife and I went to Norfolk for a short break and chose The Dales Hotel after Googling "Country House Hotels in Norfolk". What a good choice. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, biggest bed we've ever slept in!, and staff efficient and friendly (couldn't do enough for you). The restaurant dinners were superb as were the freshly cooked breakfasts. Everything about the hotel was first class. We would recommend this hotel for a "chill out" break and will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place this is! We have eaten here a few times in the gardens on trips to Norfolk but never stayed before. Thank you so much to the team who made every moment special. Wonderful food, service and afternoon tea and our room was beautiful. We will be back!

My friend & I have dined here a few times now...& its always been lovely & great service & food..but yesterday's visit (10/4) was absolutely amazing...the food was phenomenal...immaculately presented & tasted fabulous,the waitress was super too..we had a wonderful time..Thankyou.
