Just returned from another wonderful stay at The Dales Country House Hotel. In fact my visit was so good I stayed an extra night. The Dales is a traditional Hotel set in the beautiful surroundings of Sheringham Park, a National Trust Parkland. The bedrooms are well equipped, immaculately clean and decorated individually to match the essence of a Country House. The Staff are truly amazing … nothing is too much trouble. They are all really lovely people. I eat in the restaurant and also in the bar area. The menus are varied with a good choice… all served with style and elegance. Thank you for making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I will be returning in the near future.

Loo seat!!

The welcome was really genuine. The room was spotless and the towels were large and extremely fluffy (so many skimp on this!) The meals were wonderful and produced with great care. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I struggled to find anything I did not like, but my only comment would be to install a grab rail in the shower. Elderly folk might appreciate this - and I certainly would have done.

We have been to the Hotel twice now and it more than meets our expectations. It is very comfortable. It is a very peaceful and welcoming ambience. The staff are cheerful and helpful. They went out of their way to help us on a couple of occasions. Lounges and dining room good and have a welcoming feel to them. The dining room staff were very good and helpful, Breakfast was excellent, set us up for the day, plenty of it and well presented. Dinner was pleasant a few couples dotted around with gentle tones of chatting. Food was good and well presented. We enjoyed it, a good end to the day. The bedroom was very good spacious, clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The bath was a little bit of a challenge, rather high sided for a cvouple of old uns. The shower and the floor were both anti slip materials, the bath was'nt. The staff soon found us an anti slip mat. I feel the bath could do with some grab handles to help with the problem of getting out of the bath. Noted a mark on one or two plates, and some cutlery was a little worn. But these things are nit picking and only come into play when trying to upgrade your star rating.

Thanks very much, my parents stayed for their diamond wedding anniversary last weekend and couldn't say anything else but great things about the way they were looked after by the staff, carrying their cases in and out, back to the car after, great food and experience. They have stayed before hence their desire to celebrate at The Dales
