Dales Country House Hotel

We have just returned after spending two nights at The Dales. The Hotel is lovely in a great place with beautiful grounds surrounding it even when it’s raining ! We were greeted by the first of many friendly staff had a drink in the bar whilst we waited for our room to be ready. Our room was lovely (11) Clean,spacious with everything we needed and great views. We had Afternoon Tea, breakfasts and both evening meals all of which were excellent and made all the better by the great service from the friendly staff. We will return Thank you all

Lovely hotel, clean and very comfortable. Room was spacious. Staff were fabulous. Definitely go back.

There wasn’t anything not to like

On arrival at the Dales we were greeted with a very warm welcome from Jade and Paige All the staff including the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful The hotel was warm and clean and the dog friendly room that we had was perfectly adequate with teas/ coffees etc for our needs and warm clean and spacious Breakfast and Dinner are served in the restaurant by great staff Lana is so very friendly and polite to all along with her colleagues The service was very efficient and the quality of food was excellent as always We have stayed at the Dales on many occasions over the years and it never fails to be better every time we visit all due to the wonderful dedication of the staff and the relaxing atmosphere If you come with your dogs the walks in the park are great ( the walks are great with or without dogs) We always look forward to our breaks at the dales and they are always value for money

Sheringham/Cromer/Holt are favourite leisure destinations for us. We live about an hour away, and it's great to stay for a night or two when visiting thus stunning area. Thus was our first stay at this hotel, and we loved it! The room was spacious (#6), the bed comfortable, the setting incredible and the staff attentive. The food & drink was better than is often the case in these country park type hotels,as was the ambience. There's were no negatives. My only non-positive comment is that the room could do with a sympathetic lick of paint. In summary, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The amazing staff. They were superb plus could not do enough for our dog too. Room was exceptionally clean, great location with fantastic walks and so close to Sheringham. Would highly recommend.

We couldn’t eat in the restaurant with our dog, but with the same menu we could eat anywhere else. Just needs to be clearer that we can still eat with the dog and in other areas as we nearly went elsewhere until I asked.

Staff, room, restaurant, location & general ambience

Not much. Room could do with a refresh (ie, a lick of paint).

Lovely 1 night stay. Great food & service. Will definitely return.

The old-fashioned style and privacy surrounding HOTEL

Had dinner, the music was wrong. You need quiet classical music Not pop. Can’t believe when you asked for a cocktail it’s in a bottle. Why can’t they just make the normal run of the milk? Cocktails? That was a shame
