Hilton Garden Inn Houston/Sugar Land

Excellent customer service

My husband and I spent 4 nights here for an awesome occasion. We had to ask for the breakfast vouchers, that were part of the amenities for guests booking there. I wonder how many did not receive vouchers? While the breakfast set up was nice, it was the standard fare at any basic hotel, nothing fancy. I would have been upset to find out that you actually expected pay for what other establishments give freely. On to our stay: The toilet seat was broken. The shower did not fully drain after use. The next person to shower had to step into cold water from the previous person. We had to ask for clean towels. One would expect that housekeeping would have come in on day 2 or perhaps 3 to clean our room, change towels and empty garbage. After being there for 3 nights, my husband had to demand housekeeping. They removed dirty towels and nothing else because I was asleep! They couldn't even leave clean towels! My husband emptied the garbage. Once more my husband demanded household and they showed up. Whenever we travel to Sugar Land again, we will choose other accommodations. I'm really ashamed that Hilton would let their name be on a place this poorly managed

It was a beautiful property, and close to a nice shopping center with restaurants and dessert places and is a very safe area.

I didn’t like that the hotel staff did not come into the room each day to tidy up and replace towels and clear trash.
