Great location, right next to the night market. The lobby and restaurants are modern contemporary design. Breakfast was excellent with many choices and the staff were very friendly. Special thanks to Mix, who was always smiling and attentative. As a Marriott platinum member, I truly appreciated the thoughtful suite upgrade offered by the reception desk (thanks to Tim and recommendations for the cooking class). I also enjoyed the happy hour, with has a variety of hot food and options.

The Chiang Mai Marriott hotel is a beautiful hotel located in central Chiang Mai- literally next door to the Night Bazaar market. Very convenient location, approximately 15min from the airport. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff are all very positive and friendly. Pitta at the checkin desk assisted us and was kind and warm to welcome us to Chiang Mai. We visited the spa where Katay, Ging, and Jiab all took great care of us during our treatments. They were very kind and asked us about our stay and what we had planned around Chiang Mai. Overall the hotel is lovely. The restaurants and M Club Lounge had vast food offerings. When in Chiang Mai definitely consider staying here.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Marriott in Chiang Mai, and a big part of that was thanks to June in the lounge. June was incredibly helpful, considerate, and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay—especially when it came to our vegetarian dietary requirements. Every single day, she took the time to speak with us, understand exactly what we needed, and personally ensured that our meals were taken care of. During the evening dinners in the lounge, she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after, which made a huge difference to our experience. What really stood out was her attention to detail and the care she showed—not just to us, but in the way she managed the lounge and supported her colleagues. She carries herself with professionalism and warmth, and it’s clear she takes great pride in her work. June truly deserves recognition for the fantastic job she is doing. Marriott is incredibly lucky to have her, and we have no doubt she has a very bright future ahead with even bigger opportunities coming her way. Thank you, June—you made our stay extra special, and you will be missed!

My family and I stayed at Marriott Chiang Mai for 2 weeks, and one of the biggest reasons our stay was so memorable was the warmth of the staff. We were always greeted so pleasantly, and it made us feel welcomed every single day. The team really went out of their way for us. They helped us arrange transport, and recommended good places to visit, which made everything much easier for us. I also came down with GE for 2 days during the trip, and the care shown by the hotel was something I truly appreciated. They informed the hotel, checked up on me, and even gave me drinks while I was unwell. The hotel is also very well located. The night markets are right in front, which made it very convenient and nice to just step out and explore. The amenities were great too — we really appreciated the pool, gym, sauna, room service, and the breakfast spread. More than anything, they made the hotel feel like home for my family. By the end of the stay, it felt like they genuinely cared about us, and they even wanted to see us before we left, which was very touching. Special thanks to Boyce, Lek, Ton, and M for making our stay such a warm and memorable one. We left with very fond memories, and a big part of that was because of the people here.

Simply a bad stay. Hotel was extremely busy and public areas were always crowded- breakfast was the worst crowding and intensity. The swimming pool was frigid, and somewhat dirty due to nearby plants falling in. Staff were helpful but actually overbearing: I do not need a staff member to follow me into the gym in order to check in on me. The room was fine, but unremarkable. With many other big hotels in the area with better rates, I would try elsewhere.

We had great a 4 nights at this well located hotel,some 15 min drive from the local airport: very clean,pool area well maintained,hotel after renovation and rebranding. Stuff extremely polite and careful, especially Pitta and Nicha at Breakfast. Breakfast with good variability,reasonable pricing of Spa services and on site Bar and Restaurants. Fitness with daylight. We highly recommend the Chinese restaurant where we had one of the Best dishes in the Region. Sea bass,Sichuan spices:-) Soup,Seafood dishes...attentative service. Well Done Team ! We are used to the Thai hospitality but the extra Family ambiente and the Welcome mssg on the Bathroom mirror were very touchy. The Hotel is in good hands when it comes to Management and so the highly recommended choice from us. Last to mention was the Executive Lounge. Rarely one sees such attention and kindness,not to forget the sweet section and daily available fresh fruits and Juices. There was literally nothing to miss. Thank You for a fantastic Experience once again.
