Very friendly staff and quiet location

Needed some TLC and modernisation

Location was quiet, staff were all friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. We had breakfast, lunch and evening meal

The shower in our room was very small, no rack to put shampoo etc on and not enough room to bend for my elderly mother if stuff was on the floor.

The staff were wonderful. The location and breakfasts were excellent. The beds were comfortable.

There was nothing I disliked.

There was a generator below window that went of every half hour. Not great in the night The shower was all water marked and mouldy The staff had no clue I had booked dinner or breakfast

Excellent food, i meanreally really good.only here 3 night but would have loved to work my way through the menu. And breakfast is top notch.Very helpful, polite and attentive staff. Cosy feel, plenty of parking. Breakfast WiFi

Bit off the beaten path re town. But for some that might be a good point. Doesn't take away from the good points

Situated away from the roads, the hotel was peaceful and welcoming. We were made welcome and well informed of breakfast times and directions to our room. The room was a good size with a nice bathroom, shower over bath and a few complementary bottles for washing.

The door handle to the bathroom was extremely squeeky - quite old fashioned and disturbing. There was signs of a water leak by the window and the bathroom floor on inspection, could have had a little more attention. Breakfast wasn't great, despite the rave reviews - we had a full english and salmon and poached egg. Only asked for non dairy on request - no provision automatically set out.
