The Lordleaze Hotel And Restaurant

Great location, very good breakfasts and excellent evening meals. Lovely room.

Bathroom was serviceable, but tired. Shower over a bath as normal, but the screen slipped which ended up with water everywhere. Grout stained and edges cracking.

Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. The evening meals were very good although service was a bit slow at times. Location was very convenient for all the things we wanted to visit.

Room got very cold, the radiator only seemed to be on or off, nothing inbetween. Otherwise the accessible rooms were good, maybe would have been useful to have walk-in showers in both.

We only stayed for one night en route to Cornwall. The hotel is in a slightly odd location on the edge of a housing estate, but it was ideally located to break the journey up. It was also lovely to be able to take the dog out for a walk in the surrounding fields. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious. We had dinner in the hotel which was very good.

Clean and friendly

When you arrived there was no need to go out again because it had a bar and restaurant.
